Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 06 Feb 2022, 07:13

Good morning.

Warm and sunny again. 8-)

Off for a walk shortly. :D

Conor is treating us to lunch out again. There's a steak place he likes so we're going there. I very rarely eat red meat so this will be interesting.

He's heading back to his place around 6 which will leave me time to get his bed linen washed and pegged out then settle down for DOI. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely and sunny again this morning, but chilly at the moment.

We have a huge swarm of blue jays in the garden this morning

Not sure what we'll be doing today. More weeding, I suppose. I might be allowed to use the spray thingy for the weeds, I might not

Love a good steak Ally, enjoy x

Steak for us on the bbq later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a much brighter day today. We have been verrrry lazy today, didn’t get up until 9.30  We are just lounging around with no plan for the day. I have what I think is some kind of sinusy thing going on, the only symptom is my ears feeling as if I’m on a plane and poor hearing in one ear. I’ll do some steam inhalation to see if that helps. We are currently watching horse racing on the frozen lake in St Moritz - we were there this time six years ago and the racing was cancelled the night before because the underlying temperature of the ice was not cold enough. We still had a great time though, happy memories.

You know, Jan, I’m not convinced prayer helps with the weeds ;) :P

Good morning all.
A blustery rainy day here today.
We are having family round for dinner, which is always nice.
Then it will be looking on line for a new child seat for the car and a new pair of Sketchers, my old ones having given up the ghost.
We can get YouTube on the new TV so I'll have a look at some old Unlucky Alf clips later on. Always good for a laugh.
Have a good day everyone.

Osc!

Good morning everyone.

Today's news: it has been raining again - still is.

I have changed the bedding and the old stuff is in the wash. Well, half of it, the duvet cover gets its own wash.

More winter Olympics to catch up on then probably a nap in the late afternoon before tonight's live show from around midnight..... My sleep pattern is being broken because of it.

Enjoy whatever it is you are doing. xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, raining earlier.

Lovely photo's on Fb Saundra.

We've had a nice lie in, just having brekkie/lunch. Rotisserie chicken with veggies for dinner this evening, vanilla blancmange and lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon from the northbound M5 :D

Tom’s car is now repaired and he needed to return his Nan’s which he’d borrowed for a few weeks until Renault could get the required part. He drove it down yesterday and John got a second negative test today so is out of isolation (Tom would have got the train back if not) so we drove down to South Wales at 9, we weren’t going to go into his Mom’s house but she insisted we go in for a cuppa so we were very careful, kept our distance and left once we’d had our drinks. It was lovely to see her though.
We stopped at Burger King at Monmouth for lunch and now we’re around 30 minutes from home. I’ve brought my crochet with me so I’ve been doing that on the journey.

Afternoon everyone :)

A milder day here, but it was wet earlier so instead of the usual Corretto's we defected to Portico Lounge, where they allow well-behaved dogs inside - Fraggle cakes it for a while ;) Round to D's after that. Mick fitted the new curtain pole yesterday, and today the new curtains are up. I'm not sure about them, IMO she'd have been better getting them thicker (they're very thin) and the green colour looks too blue-ey to match her decor, but then it's not my call ;) I made all the right noises anyway

We've had a roast chicken with all the trimmings, and there's apple pie and custard for pud later if anyone can find room

DoI and Call The Midwife later - perfect Sunday night telly 8-)

Jo, I'm glad John's out of isolation now! I expect you're nearly home now, hope you waved as you sped past Gloucester ;) :D

Love to all xxx
