Off for my walk soon.

Walking into town at 11 for my haircut. How quickly these 4 weeks zoom round!

Don's going to pick Conor up to take him to the airport as he's got an 11.30 flight to East Midlands.
He's going to see Craig and Jacob for a long weekend.

Lucia would have taken him but she doesn't get off duty till 8am and the last thing she needs is to be driving through rush hour towards Malaga.

Usual Friday beers and tapas tonight and there's a birthday in the mix too.

Cleaning morning this morning and then this afternoon, I'm making fish pie. I dislike fish, taste, smell, texture, so this is for Grumpy. I'll make two, one goes in the freezer. I'll have pasta tonight,

Bright and sunny here

Well, sods law and all that, the car went into gear yesterday without any problems so I risked it and drove over to Westwood. I was a bit nervous getting in it to come back, but all okay. Having read the manual and looked at the Suzuki community Q&A's it probably needs gear box fuel. It's not something we can do, takes about an hour, so I'll have to find a garage and get it looked at. I'll ring the Suzuki dealership in Canterbury and see what they say.

Friday wash day, the machine's on, just waiting to see if/when it trips the electric again. The electrician said it could be a particular programme that's faulty, we'll see.......... No other plans, expecting a Sainsbury's order between 1-2pm.

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely sunny day but very cold. I’ve been to a friend’s house for coffee, three of us setting the world to rights. We had planned to visit Edward’s BIL this afternoon, but Edward hasn’t been able to get in touch with his sister, hope everything is all right. We don’t have dancing tonight as our hosts are over in Blackpool judging the All England championships. So I might have to do some ironing, although that could wait until tomorrow

As mentioned, it's been a beautiful sunny day here. I got my ironing cleared first thing, then I and I walked into town for a few bits I couldn't get at Sainsbury's yesterday. We popped into D's on the way home. Nothing much else doing apart from needing to redo my nails later
