Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 18 Feb 2022, 07:05

Good morning.

Same as yesterday....toasty warm and sunny. 8-)

The bike ride was a success....Mr Wiggins survived.

Off for my walk shortly.

Conor's coming over this afternoon :cute: and will join us for Friday beers and tapas. :D

He's staying over so I'd best nip to Mercadona later for bacon for breakfast tomorrow.

Have a great day.

Stay safe in the UK. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey. And will be all day

I put the washing machine on before I saw the weather forecast, so hoping it will be warm enough for the clothes to dry

We really need to water the garden, so that's an hour taken this morning, after breakfast, but before the cleaning. Never had to water the garden in the winter before, scary.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally   xx

Jan, these days our lawn needs cutting all through the winter, when it's dry enough that is. Strange :? xx

Well, we didn't blow away in the night!  Yes, it's pretty windy but we live opposite a big field, with lots of trees, and they're all still intact. I think it's been a bit hyped up really. Anyway, I have a hairdressers appointment at 10.45, then Mick's picking me up so we can have lunch out together :)

Take care everyone xxxx

Good morning everybody,

It is windy but not as strong as forecast. There has been rain but there is now some blue sky.
Have been for the paper. Will now strip the bed and do some washing.
A day for staying inside.

Have a good day everybody.

A bit of mizzley rain as we were watering   And it looks like it's here for the day, so we'll have an indoors type of day and the cleaning can wait too.

Good morning all.
The weather is changeable here. One minute grey cloud and rain, the next sunny. A strong wind which for the moment seems to have died down.
We are waiting for the Rington's tea man to come and after that we are off to do the weekend shop and get some milk for MrsC's Uncle Jim.
Well done Bradley! I guess the rain is much needed Jan. That's nice about your delivery Saundra.
We won't be staying out too long I'm guessing.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s not too nice here although the strong winds are not due to hit for another hour, there was plenty of rain during the night. Today starts our busy weekend, we will meet up with our friends from Newry who are staying in a hotel a few miles away, have something to eat then head off to dance. I’ve put a wash on, at least we’ll come home from Cork to a fairly empty wash basket  Otherwise just pottering around until we go out this afternoon.

Wasn't really rain, more mist. Now stopped and yes, we are desperate for rain.

Went down to the bar for a coffee and told Odette about Brian buying the land next door. She couldn't believe how much he paid for it.

So the jungle drums will be working today
