Back to the vet...

It wasn't Alison we saw today, but thank you Mm, that may have been what the vet meant, she did say that if needed there were milk thistle-type supplements available. We'll wait and see for now.

In the meantime we've just (literally) spotted something on her leg...a bare patch and red, no idea what to google but obviously will be phoning vet again in the morning :?

That could be where the infection is coming from maybe?

Seriously I would consider the Denamarin Di, they have been brilliant and can't do any harm

It could be Mm yes although it doesn't look like a cut or anything, and she's hardly been anywhere :? It's a bit weird as we usually notice anything odd but this must have appeared very recently.
We will definitely look at the Denamarin but y'know, it's only been a few hours ;)

On a slightly brighter note, she's been a bit better this evening, the injections must have helped a bit :)

Oh poor Minnie. And poor you.

I hope the patch on her leg is nothing serious.

When Millie was at her lowest point and her system was very low she developed lots of little skin problems - bare patches of skin, a sort of dandruff, her coat looked really dull and lifeless and she had sores inside her ears. Dan said that it was nothing to worry about and that as she started to get better she would revert back to normal - which she did.

He told us to put sudacrem on her little bald patches and on the sores in her ears and that worked fine.

I was up anyway Kaz :)
She's quiet but it was early! She's also been asking for food but am not giving her any yet, she's got to only have a little so will wait a while yet.
Debih we'd only been saying this week how much better her coat's looking, almost back to its beautiful glossy shine.

Just catching up here. Di I'm so sorry Minnie is feeling poorly again. I hope the antibiotics do the trick. Good luck at the vet today and we are all rooting for Minnie to bounce back. Such a worry for you ((((((((((Di))))))))))
