Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

DOI was brilliant Ally, you're in for a treat. We'll be catching up with Peaky Blinders this afternoon.
Kaz good luck to H.

What a palaver, I've spent an hour on the phone sorting E's transport for tomorrow. He had a text Friday evening to say he needs to be there an hour and a half earlier for x-ray, of course the transport peeps booking line was closed for the weekend by then. I rang them this morning to see if his pick up could be brought forward, the usual holding music so it took some time. 10mins after all that he had a call from Spire in Elstree to say his x-ray was to be done there instead so back on the phone to the transport peeps who weren't able to arrange two trips in the time frame. Then rang the RNOH who said don't worry come straight here. Right hand/left hand sort of thing  I think he'll be waiting around for some time, apparently there are building works going on at the RNOH and they only have one working x-ray room, hence trying to route patients elsewhere to ease the queues. Methinks he's in for a very long day.

And breathe, not much else happening today, expecting a delivery from Tesco between 1-2 and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon al, it is bitterly cold here. I got up early to get the car puncture repaired, got back in time to go to the gym, and I never warmed up until I got home from the gym and layered up with clothes. Edward has just arrived home from golf, it was so cold that they only played six holes. I need to go to the post office this afternoon - I’m trying to sell a very small amount of Vodafone shares, you would not believe the rigmarole involved. Luckily I know a solicitor who is happy to certify documents in exchange for babysitting ;)

Afternoon all, I started a post this morning and got distracted so I’ll start again

A dull and cold start, with a bit of rain at one point, has turned into a lovely sunny day. I’ve cleaned throughout, ironed and then mowed the lawns and dug the borders over. The back door’s been open all afternoon and it’s been really nice to have the fresh air blowing into the house.

I walked Bill first thing and we were home in time to have 15 minutes with Joe before he left for college. Hadn’t seen him properly since Thursday night, just saw him for a few minutes on Friday morning and then he didn’t get back until 1.30am this morning so he said goodnight and went straight up to bed.

Enjoy the rest of the day xx
