Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 12 Mar 2022, 06:41

Good morning.

Sunny sunshine and 20C. 8-)

We had rain last night from 7 till 9.
It dried almost instantly so parched is the ground. :?

Going for my walk shortly. :D

We're meeting friends tonight at the Thai restaurant for a birthday bash. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally :) Morning all :)

Glad you at least had a bit of rain Ally. Fingers crossed you get some more xxx

Well B got another negative so is out of isolation :D :D Thankfully none of us caught it from her, but then we were really careful, and in the lucky position of her room being on the upper floor and being able to keep to her own bathroom. We can let her downstairs now

Harry's last day at Barnwood Tesco, he starts at the Ashford one on Monday. Mick is driving him back to his dad's tomorrow. He's going to have to put the back seats down in the Zafira to get all his stuff in there  I will miss him.

The usual Saturday stuff here.

Love to all xxx

Strange here, sort of sunny, but sort of cloudy. 12 °C forecast - so warm! :D

M&S with Lyra are moving house this weekend so I'm lending a hand.

Poor B, Kaz, living alone upstairs. Good luck to H in his new job, hope it all goes well for him.

Enjoy the omelette Al, and enjoy your day everyone. XX

Good morning all

Hopefully it won't be long before Harry passes his licence (has he got a new date yet?) and he can come see you more regularly. Glad you had all this time with him and sorry it's come to an end. Good luck to him in the new job. And yay that Becky has the all-clear - she must be happy to be able to move about again.

Frank, good luck with the move; wishing them many happy years in their new home

Ally, enjoy the dinner tonight; I do love a good Thai. And enjoy the eggs; I love having my steady supply of them.

Well bandage is off the hand so now able to type with two hands again yay! Just need to make sure I don't overdo it because the stitches are right in the joint. But the tweaks quickly tell me I've overdone it :D. I've got a whole lot of snowdrops bulbs that were given to me by a friend; her garden border was overrun with them so she gave me loads so I need to get them into to ground asap. And she's giving me blue bells as well - yay!

Need to give the house a bit of a tidy / clean as I have a friend coming round for coffee at some point. And othewise I'll be trying to pootle as much as I can in the greenhouse and get some seeds sown. I'm late again this year for some and annoyed with myself; but hey ho.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s sunny here, but surprise surprise, rain and strong winds forecast for later  This afternoon, we are going to see Kellie perform in her dance school show. It’s in a proper theatre and rehearsals having been going on all week. Today, they have a full dress rehearsal this morning, followed by a matinee and evening performance - a lot for a 7 year old! Proud Granny, Grandad and my sister will be in the front row of the circle, then Mummy, Daddy and Michael will be at the evening performance.
