Has anyone ever seen any of this for sale in supermarkets. I really want butterscotch extract but I suppose flavouring would do.
I don't even have to tell you what I am wanting to do with it......................................

First the sauce has to be made, then the solids have to precipitated out in pure alcohol, then the alcohol has to be distilled off to leave the essential ethers and oils.
Wouldn't it be simpler to buy a bottle of butterscotch schnapps and pour it into a glass of Bailey's?
