Postby Ally » 18 Mar 2022, 06:30

Good morning.

Gorgeous sunrise and forecast 22C. 8-)

Meeting Ana again at 9am for another walk. Yesterday's was so good we want a repeat. :D

Also at 9am Conor will be catching the AVE to Madrid for the weekend. It's quicker than flying there.

Friday beers and tapas tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy at the moment, but we're also forecast sun and 22C 8-)

Washing out already, just in case

Cleaning this morning and no gardening. We're out for dinner at a friends tonight and my hands and nails need some time to recover from the grime that gets embedded

Other than that, not a lot 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

I hope Conor has a great weekend, Ally :) Enjoy your walk :) xx

Have a nice time tonight Jan :) xx

It a bit foggy here :? Hopefully it will clear in a while. Not sure what we're doing today, playing it by ear, but I do have a pile of ironing to clear at some point :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is coming out and the mist which was about when I got up has gone.
Doing some ironing and housework this morning. Then will mow the lawn this afternoon when the sun had dried the grass. The back garden
only gets the sun after lunch.

Have a good day everybody.

Thanks Kaz. He's just WhatsApped me from Madrid station. Two hour 20mins journey. So quick!

Back from my walk with Ana...11kms.
She's doing so well since her BC surgery and has a check up this Tuesday.

Good morning, it’s occasionally sunny and very windy here. We have an additional one-off bank holiday today, not that that makes much difference to us, but it’s great for many people who are getting a nice long weekend off. Lots of bits and pieces I could do today, including ironing of course, and I want to buy a voucher for Miss Osc and SIL as a joint birthday present. They are going to a wedding in Donegal in May, they will be staying three nights as SIL is a groomsman so needs to be there the night before the wedding. It is quite an expensive hotel so I’ll get them a voucher towards the cost. Why are weddings so long these days anyway? We’ll be having Michael and Kellie to stay while they are away. I might print off some of our cruise stuff today, although I’m finding it hard to get too enthusiastic as we have to be tested at the cruise terminal, and if one of us is positive, we don’t get to go :(

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

More car hassle, it wouldn't start yesterday morning, but the lights, radio etc all work so it's not the battery. We ended up getting a taxi to/from Westwood Cross rather than hang around waiting for Green Flag. It's wash day and Sainsbury's are due to deliver between 1-2pm so no problem waiting for them today, I'll ring them shortly and see what they can do.

Hope you all have a good day xx

hello all and good afternoon

Ally, glad Anna is doing well and good luck for her appointment on Tuesday
Jan, have a lovely evening
Jen, check the petrol gauge in the car just in case someone decided to help themselves to the petrol in your tank. Admittedly the petrol caps are all locked these days but still you never know and people are desperate enough to do something daft
Cruiser, I'm hoping to get my lawn mowed tomorrow - I'm away this afternoon and same as at yours the grass needs until then to dry enough
Kaz and Osc, hope you're having a good day

well, regular work this morning and about to pack up trusty laptop and head to Nadine's for the afternoon (via Sainsburys's)... Nothing exciting to report here

have a lovely day all x

Ria,
I have managed to mow about three quarters of the lawn. It is not very big. Still have cylinder mower. Took the grass box off as it kept
coming off. Just let the grass fall onto grass still to be cut. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow.

I have also washed the car, and presure washed some of the flags on the drive at the front. Still weeding to be done.

I will be goingt to Tesco later as well.
