Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 23 Mar 2022, 07:09

Good morning.

It's warm and due to start raining at 10 and continue till 4. Yippee. :cute: :cute:
As we're in a valley we hardly ever get wind but it's blowy today. The ornaments on the outside walls are rattling.

I'll get a walk in and then very happily stay home.
I'm reading a great book, Jacob's here and Don's cooking dinner. :D :D

GB Menu tonight and a new MasterChef starts. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet. Very wet :Hi: :Hi: Forecast sys rain all day and it certainly hasn't stopped since 2.00 this morning :Hi:

So a day for doing nothing at all. I've taken something mysterious out of the freezer for dinner, although it was written on, I can't read it   The other one is a curry, so hopefully, something that goes with curry

Eldest son and family are coming over in September/October :Hi: :Hi: so things have to be organised, as they can't all stay here.

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather 8-)

Morning all

Ally and Jan, enjoy that much needed rain (well needed where you are, no so much here    )
Saundra, it's gorgeous day here as well - makes such a difference, doesn't it.

Well back from my discharge appointment with the consultant - he's happy with how the scar is healing; the stitches should now start falling out on their own as I can now use the hand to shower / bath etc. So next time I see him will probably be towards the end of the year to have the carpal tunnel issues on my left hand sorted; but that's a winter job ;-)

So now a usual / usual for me.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Glad you're post op appointment went well Ria, just be careful not to overdo it too quickly.

We got quite a bit done in the garden yesterday, it's looking much better. It will need more doing before E goes into hospital though, he won't be able to do much bending, lifting etc for some weeks after his op. Talking hospital, need to ring and get the transport sorted for his MRI at the RNOH on 6th April, you'd think it would be more sensible and less costly for him to have it done locally.

Hairdresser for me this afternoon, she's at the salon in town today so I'll probably catch the bus. E says he'll come too and while I'm being sorted he'll have a little stroll along the seafront with his camera. No doubt he'll stop at Spoons and have a pint too

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s absolutely beautiful here. Blue skies and a high of 18°c :D

No plans today, I’m washing Bill’s throws off the sofas and the towels he gets wiped down with after a walk. Nothing that’ll need ironing  I tidied the garden yesterday so there’s nothing outside that needs doing.

Ria, that’s good news!

Jen, it makes no sense does it, E having to go all that way for something that could be done locally. Just another example of waste, money and time, by the NHS.

Have a good day all :D

Good afternoon.
It's a lovely spring day here, sunny and warm. The daffs are out everywhere, such a cheerful flower.
Not much on here today, may go for a short toddle in a while.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, it’s glorious here today. I’ve been to the dental hygienist this morning, and going to the hairdresser for 2pm - my fringe is right down in my eyes, I didn’t bother with a fringe trim this time and it suddenly grew in the last 10 days  Howth is busy today with the lovely weather and it was hard to find a parking space when I got back from the dentist. At least I can walk to the hairdresser.

Afternoon all :)

Ally, I hope you do get some rain xx

Jan, I wonder what the mystery meal will be   xx

Saundra, lovely and sunny here too :D xx

Ria, great news :D xx

Locally would make much more sense Jen xx

Jo, nothing that needs ironing is a win ;) xx

Our daffs are dying back now, Crommers. They're beautiful aren't they? xx

Osc, my hair was like that last time! Grew so slowly that I postponed an appointment, then suddenly it was all shaggy!. :cute: xx

Mick and I were out fairly early, to meet Ruth and Rob at Correttto's. Not seen them since the pandemic started, and it was great to catch up :D We took Fraggle, who unfortunately seems to be having a bit of trouble with his bad leg again :? We'll give it a day or two, then take him to the vet if it's still playing up :? Zumba tonight.

Love to all :) xx
