Then no longer legal tender
And can be exchanged at a bank

I have no idea what a £50 note looks like.

I tend to use cards nowadays so not many new notes either, but thanks Saundra.

I think we've long since laundered any of our old notes into new ones ....

Notes don't stay in my wallet long enough to become out of date.
Have to go to the bank at least once a month for some more cash. Still a lot of small shops only accepting cash.
