Good morning.

Sunny and 21C forecast. 8-)

Conor stayed over last night so 4 lots of bacon rolls for breakfast. :D

Going to clean all the garden furniture and have a tidy round. Hundreds of oranges and lemons have fallen from the trees.

Out for a Thai meal with some friends tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

No rain today  We have hazy sun at the moment, with mist in the valleys, looking towards the Algarve.

Been up for hours again  Finished a book and tried to go back to sleep, but the cat decided she wanted to come in and was tapping at the window

Not a lot going on this morning, although will head outside and pull up some weeds.

Down to the bar this afternoon, for a few beers and a meet up.

And then must remember to put the clocks forward before I go to bed 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is out again. Have cleaned the windows on the car. They were very dirty when I went for the paper. Doing some housework
and may do some weeding this afternoon.
Got my nw Bus Pass It is valid till 2027. Ther is a letter to say you can pay £0.00 per year to have free travel on the trains and
Metrolink trams after 9.30 a.m. in the Greater Manchester area. It is worth it if you use the trains a lot.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, another lovely day here. Again, no plan but I’ll probably finish the ironing I started yesterday. I got a lovely surprise yesterday evening, someone I know in the dance world contacted me. She had a ticket to see Giovanni Pernice (he of SCD fame) dancing in his show this night next week, and can no longer go so wondered if I would like it. Did I say yes? Of course I did  A nice treat to look forward to, aren’t people kind. She wouldn’t let me pay for it either. Today is SIL’s birthday, they are all going to the Ireland -v- Belgium match this evening, it will be Kellie’s first big soccer match.

Cruiser here in Ireland, all people over 66 get free travel country wide, on buses and trains.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

Bacon rolls, how yummy Ally.
I didn't realise Portugal also change the clocks Jan.
Our passes only apply to the buses Cruiser.
Sounds as though Scarlett is having a good day Saundra.
Lucky you Osc, I love Giovanni.

I had some beautiful flowers from Z yesterday. Eldest daughter M texted to say a parcel will arrive sometime today, she says to open it straight away, it's a little treat for each day of the weekend.

Bed change day, the sheets are in the machine. Nothing else planned, intend to be lazy.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Given up on the weeding.

it is rather warm now and for the first time this year, the jumper came off  But the air quality is not too good, so inside now.

Our annual delivery of 100 litres of red wine was delivered this morning. Wine stayed the same price, but the boxes themselves have gone up and we also had to pay a little towards the petrol, as it comes down from up north.

Debating on going out this afternoon or not, we'll see how the haziness is.

How lovely Jen :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, any plans for all that citrus fruit? Yum! :D xx

Jan, jumper off? Careful now ;) xx

Have a good one, Cruiser :) xx

I hope Scarlett has a fun day, Saundra :) xx

Osc, that's such a kind gesture, something really nice to look forward to 8-) xx

Jen, how lovely! :) xx

It's another beautiful day here :) B and I went to SW first thing, :cute: After that we all went to Corretto's for breakfast, then walked Fraggle round the dock basin in the sunshine. Just got home from D's, her garden is looking beautiful at the moment in the spring sunshine :) Mick mended a panel in her greenhouse, so we can start getting it ready for plants.

Having a nice lazy afternoon now, watching a documentary about Tutankham that we missed during the week :D I've been fascinated by him ever since I saw his exhibition at the British Museum when I was a little girl 8-)

Take care everyone :) xx

Another gorgeous day here, today it was almost warm in work!!! I still had a cardi on though, plus one heater! Only till 12.30 then home...or rather back out to get some cards for a) Lewis, who is 13 (!!!) this Wednesday, and for Anne, my aqua buddy, who will have been married for 40 years next Sunday :o It's funny we had been together on Thursday as usual, since she's back from a week in Tenerife, no mention of plans for Friday. Tom and I had decided to have a trip to Seaburn, and we turned round from having a sit down on a bench and who was coming towards us but Anne and Paul, her husband!! :o :D Anne has never met Tom, so we did intros and a quick chat, the men were chatting too, but I was sooo taken aback to see them! :D :D I've met Paul before but only for minutes at a time....they spend lots of time in Durham so it's no surprise to bump into them there, or the Arnison Centre, but Seaburn is so far from where they live, and around 45 minutes for us, so just mad!!

We called in to see Tom's brother John on our way home - he had a slight stroke a couple of weeks ago but luckily it's been caught quickly and he's now on meds. His wife isn't too good, however, she's been diagnosed with dementia, so John is effectively her carer. It's so hard for them.

Ally that fruit sounds yummy! :) Are you going to make something with them all?

Kaz just my kind of day....hope you enjoyed x

Ooo yes Osc - Anne (above) and I love Giovanni too - she was very upset not to be able to get tickets to see him in Durham recently - I think next time he's here we should definitely pre book!! How nice of your friend!?? 8-)

Chinese takeout time shortly - have a lovely evening all x
