I'm bouncing off the walls here.

As I type my best friend Jackie is boarding her flight from Birmingham.
We haven't seen each other since July 2020 and I can't wait to hug her.

She's due to land just after 11.

I'm taking her to my favourite Gambrinus where we'll sit and have a wonderful catch up.

She'll be here at least a week as she hasn't booked a return flight home yet.

Another late start after a good nights sleep. Apart from the cat wanting to go out at silly 0'clock. Normally, I'd just lie in bed, waiting to get up. But went back to sleep this morning

I have the ironing to do this morning and Grumpy will carry on cleaning the pool. He got so fed up with hoovering it yesterday Loads of dust at the bottom, because of all the dust from the Sahara.

Having a video chat with eldest son late, to sort out his visit

Leftover curry for dinner, with home made samosas and chips. Proper chips.

Morning all, it’s another glorious day here. Not going to last much longer apparently. I’ve plenty of h/work to do but will hope to sit out in the sun for a while.

Morning all, it looks like being the last day of the decent weather here. It was grey when I walked Bill at 6.30 but it’s just brightened up.

I’ve just had a sort out in the understairs cupboard in the hall, the first of two Amazon deliveries has just arrived and I’ve ironed. Joe’s not in college today because it’s Amanda’s Grandad’s funeral, he’s gone out looking very smart in his suit, crisp white shirt, tie and shiny shoes. I don’t think Amanda and her family will recognise him.

Good morning everybody.

It is clouding over but still warm.
Am having trouble loging on to order repeat prescriptions. It happened l;ast week and three times last year.
Went to the surgery first thing and saw the Practice Manger. I had seen her before. She gave me her direct phone number to help me
order the repeat prescriptions. Have now done it manually using a form the PM printed for me. Should be able to pick them up on Wednesday.
PM said she will get one of the staff to look into the problem and send me instructions.THere is something wrong with their system
as I keep getting a blank black screen.
I have wasted a lot of time trying to order the repeat presciption over the week-end when I could have been out in the sun

It has turned into another beautiful day here, although as it was foggy this morning I went out in jeans, boots and my new warm jacket Ended up carrying my jacket

Walked into town to meet Emma, bought some new t-shirts in M&S, picked up a few bits in the poundshop, mooched round Primark with Em, then came home, Em dropped me off Fraggle is lying in a sun puddle by the patio doors, he loves the sun, my little sun-bear

Not bothering with Zumba tonight, as Emma isn't - we'll go on Wednesday night instead.

So far today we have filled the car up and taken our old TV through for MrsC's Auntie Violet, hers has bitten the dust.
It's a nice day now, sunny and warm but earlier it was grey and overcast.
Crommers jnr and his gf have split up. They were together for four years and living together for three. Apparently it hasn't been going well for the last year. He seems much happier now it's been resolved. He said it was a mutual decision.

up with a partner especially if you have a good relationship with them
Been miserable today as it would have been our 58years wedding anniversary
But a few cups of tea and a kit kat helped
