I must admit that I find this manual stuff quaint. It is not as if it is a messaging server that has to honour DST Law across multiple timezones when delivering a message. But some website product developers seem to think it is a good idea to keep the admins on their toes by not providing a fully competent DST mechanism.
That being said, my 2.5 year old Citroen has date time settings. You can set it by Satellite signal and you can set whether you want DST or not.
I have found that setting DST on just pushed the clock forward. So whilst it will recognise where you are and adjust the time, you have to manually change the DST setting every time the clock changes.
Whilst it is better than pushing the hard and painful small button on my old Galaxy to go forward 23 hours, I am vaguely disappointed that the software side is still pitifully inadequate.
