Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 10 Apr 2022, 05:36

Good morning.

Another 25C forecast. Jackie admitted defeat yesterday and had to seek shade. 8-)

A walk for me shortly then back to enjoy a last full day with my sun queen.
Two weeks have absolutely flown by!

After days lying by the pool and dangling our legs it's definitely warm enough to get in so today I'm taking the plunge.

I've got a big chunky chicken to roast for dinner along with patatas bravas, coleslaw, potato salad and greenery.

No nipping out for a beer as we're all up at 4.45am tomorrow.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun is out :Hi: but the mist is rolling in again. Once that clears, we're in for a lovely day 8-)

Washing to be done this morning and then back out weeding. The flower beds look much better, you can actually see the stones around the beds

Early bbq as Grumpy wants to watch the darts finals and they start from 5.00

Safe journey tomorrow Ally xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doig xx

Morning all, it’s grey out there and looks chilly. I’m more than ready for some consistently warmer weather now. We were lazy this morning didn’t get up until about 9.15. We’re going dancing this afternoon, then back for Edward to watch golf from America this evening. Sadly, Shane Lowry dropped back a bit last night but he might do better tonight. Right, better do some tidying around then have my shower.

Good morning all.
A nice sunny one though not too warm. It was frosty earlier, the car was white over.
MrsC is still testing positive but the second line was very faint this time. Just us two for dinner, obviously.
Will watch the football and motoGP later.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

We had a lovely time with the boys yesterday, we've really missed them.

Had a phone call this morning and now have an appointment to see a consultant about my ankle this coming Tuesday morning. It's at our local hospital the QEQM (where I had my hip op) so not far to go. Hopefully I'll find out what my options are, but if surgery is needed expect the waiting list will be horrendously long. At least things are beginning to move now.

We didn't do the bed change yesterday so the sheets are in the wash. It's rotisserie chicken and veg for dinner around 6ish followed by vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud. Other than that we're planning to be lazy.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Enjoy your last day with Jackie, Ally. Safe journey tomorrow :) xxx

That's quite a difference in the weather tomorrow Jan  xxx

I'm ready for some warmth too Osc :cute: xxx

Good news about Mrs C, Crommers! Fingers crossed for a negative tomorrow XX

Jen, good news! xx

Well it's been sunny here, and a little warmer than yesterday, despite a frosty start! I woke feeling as though I was starting a cold, and still do, but a test was negative so have carried on with my day.

We all went to Corretto's for brunch, then went round to D's. Home now, and my bargain chicken is in the oven for later :D I got to the meat aisle in Sainsbury's yesterday just as they were marking stuff down and nabbed a whole chicken, a pack of mince, and a tray of organic corn-fed chicken - £4.50 odd for the lot!! :D :D The chicken had today's date on so I was happy to refrigerate that for today, but the rest were yesterday's so went in the freezer 8-) We're having jacket potatoes and veg with the chicken :)

Love to all :) xxx

It's been a lovely sunny day, although with a brisk breeze/gale force wind at times

Flip-flops are having their first airing :Hi: and I'm actually wearing just one layer  Might have to put more on later, but for now, it's lovely. Even put some sun cream on 8-)

Weeding almost up to date. I wandered down the drive to sort out the spikey things we have on the other side of the gate. Just to remind the pool guys that there are plants there. They've run over one and parked over another

Grumpy has done the spraying of the paths and drive, so we're all ready for the next lot, once we have had our rain and then more sun

Just lit the bbq, having half a chicken each, well, he will, I'll probably let him most of mine.

Glad Mrs C is feeling better xx
