Good morning.

As is usual at Easter it seems to think it's summer and today is no exception with 27C forecast.

And with that in mind my walk will be done and dusted early.

I'll have a swim early afternoon.

5pm we'll be at the church watching the first parade starting. A huge Trono, 100 men carrying it, will be brought out of the church, and this, along with many others, will be carried through town and goes on till 3am.

It's very atmospheric and my favourite of the Spanish traditions.

We'll have dinner somewhere around 10 then afterwards catch up with whichever parade is nearest to us.

It'll be a late one for sure.

Quick question Ally, are you anywhere near Alicante? My friend is on holiday and said the weather isn't good. Its murky and 15 degrees, I said she needs to head to where you are

Saw a big processiion one year when we were in malta. Have got some photos somewhere showing the big crucifix and other
objects being paraded through the streets

The sun is shining but it is not as warm as where Ally is.
Am going shoppinjg. My son said he wants some choco;ate biscuits. May get him some hot cross buns.

Nowhere near MM. That's up further north and a different Costa.

One of the reasons we (Don in particular) chose the tip of southern Spain was for the sunshine.

Sunny, but with a brisk breeze. Warming up nicely now, 24C later but down to 8C tonight

Pottering in the garden once it warms up. Will transplant the two daisies and more weeding

Also make a curry for Saturday

Don't spoil him Cruiser, normal biscuits will do

What a shame for your friend MM, the weather looks awful in Alicante at the moment.

Busy morning. Three machine loads of washing down and out, almost dry Curry made, chicken prepped for tonight's dinner, puss cat happy with the trimmings and phoned the bank and closed the account, money now over here

Grumpy is sorting the pool out, it was rather mucky Not quite warm enough yet, but soon. Soon

Usual Thursday shopping trip to Sainsbury's, I did some housework first. Got stuff in the dryer ( too murky today for the washing line) and once that's dry I will iron it. No Pilates tonight as it's school holidays.
