Good morning Easter Monday

Postby Ally » 18 Apr 2022, 05:20

Good morning.

A more normal for the time of the year 26° forecast. :D

A walk soon. :D

Don fancies a jaunt to Carre Four. They do a great selection of coffee which he loves. The last time we were there I spotted jelly beans which I love...the ones made in Ireland that are beyond delicious...so I've very kindly said I'll go and keep him company.

Plans are to chill out this evening. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Operation Karcher today, I'll be doing the patio in the back garden and the front driveway. It's on my to do list of things to do before E goes into hospital. I quite like the jet washing bit, but need help moving the garden furniture and it will be sometime before he'll be doing any heavy lifting. I wash everything in sight, fascias, windows and the car, anything that doesn't move really. Our Tesco delivery is coming between 11-12 so I'll probably clean the car first and then tackle the back, don't want to wash the delivery chap away, E says I'm a menace

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s a pleasant day after yesterday’s dreariness. We plan to go dancing this afternoon, need to dance off yesterday’s food intake :D Edward has just realised that the day of our 50th anniversary celebration meal out is also the day of the FA Cup Final, so a change will be needed  Interestingly enough, we didn’t get married on May 6th because that was the FA Cup Final in 1972, and we got married the following Friday the 12th because England was playing Germany in the European cup quarter final on the 13th (we still supported England in those days ;) ) So football dictated things even then, some things never change

Morning all.
A nice morning here, not as warm as yesterday though and a bit cloudy.
Ally - that is truly selfless of you!
Jen, let's hope no dogwalkers stop to talk to you!
Osc, 1972 was Leeds 1 Arsenal 0! Alan Clarke with a diving header. Enjoy your anniversary (and the football!).
steady away with the weeding Jan.
Just need to get a paper and a bit of shopping this morning. Beef stew for tea with the leftovers from the Sunday joint.
have a lovely day everyone.

The sun is trying to come out and there is some blue sky.

Have done most of the ironing after washing yesterday. Still a sheet and some undwear. Have also hoovferd the inside of the car. Lots of litle

May presure wash the flags at the back. Have done the ones at the front. Also the lawn needs mowing.

Have a good day evrybody.
