We're off too, after breakfast. First stop will be Tavira, a mooch around the shops there. Much more choice than here then onto Fuzeta.

E went off to bed around 9pm to be sure of some sleep, thankfully the driver rang last night with a definite time of 4.30am and sure enough he turned up exactly as promised. Needless to say after seeing E off I went back to bed. He's first on the list, theatre starts at 8.30am, hopefully I'll hear how it's gone around midday/early afternoon. Tbh not sure whose more jittery, him or me.

I have an appointment at our surgery for 9.15 this morning for my 4th covid jab. After that my plan is to keep busy, lots of jobs need doing and it will help take my mind off things.

The sun is coming out but there is still the cold wind. Connecting up the ecurity light this morning It had been connected to the
immersion heater circuit which has been disconnected now I have a combi boiler.
Yes I will switch the power of at the main control panel!!!

This afternoon I will be in the garden trimming the edge of the lawn. The section I have done looks good.

Morning all, it’s dull and chilly here but the sun is supposed to come out. Edward has headed off to play golf, and I have a pile of ironing awaiting my attention, I have to stay in as we are expecting a parcel so I might as well do it. Once that arrives, I’ll walk down to buy some fish and also call into the restaurant where we hope to go for our anniversary celebration and ask if they can change the booking to the next day. The times on their online booking system do not suit, so fingers crossed they might be able to offer something more suitable. On the way back, I’ll pop into the hairdresser to make an appointment for next week.

Jen, I know you’ll be on tenterhooks all day until you hear news about Ed, I hope it all goes ok xx

Good news, Mr McCullock has just rung to say E's hip was in a real mess, but the op's been very successful. He's literally just taken off his gloves, E was being moved to recovery so it will be a while before he goes to the ward and I can speak to him. Now breathe...............
