Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 29 Apr 2022, 05:20

Good morning.

A nice toasty 28° forecast. 8-)

Off for my walk soon. I'll peg the washing out when I get back. :D

Need to nip to plaza mayor to H&M as my friend has shown me a dress she likes and I want to buy it for her birthday.

Jacob's flashing his passport again   as he's off to Craig's for a long weekend so I'll drop him at the airport around 4pm for his 5.30 flight. :D

Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a good day.

Hope E had a decent night's rest Jen. xx

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

The sun is out so will be gardening again today. Still got half of the edge of the lawn to trim. Some weeds are also starting to show. Want to
get it done as rain is forecast for Sunday.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny, but blowy. But 26C later, a pleasant temperature :D

Hope E and you both had a good night sleep Jen xx

We did. Only just woke up  The bed where we stayed was super comfy, but always good to be back in your own bed.

Chris has juts been up to drop off their post box key. They're off in about half an hour, heading back to France and then England, for the next five months. Lucy needs to see her doctors and has already booked various scans to be done before she sees the specialists.

I've got the washing machine on and I'll do the cleaning this morning, then head outside this afternoon, gardening. Grumpy will be sorting the veg plot out, Pulling up the broad bean plants, stringing up the onions. I'll look at the pea plants and get them sorted.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

E's journey home was very uncomfortable, very narrow seats and he felt quite sore by the time he got here. Think he was well and truly overdone and felt so cold yesterday evening I had to put the heating on until he went to bed. I did suggest him going off at 9, but he stuck it out until 10pm, thankfully he's had a really good nights sleep and woke up much more himself. He's done a few exercises, but is taking it nice and easy today, tomorrow we'll start getting out for short walks in the close.

Me, well I'm cream crackered  Always takes me a couple of days to get into a good routine with the washing, dressing etc. I swear the special socks he must wear for 6 weeks were invented by the devil. Getting them off is one thing, getting them back on is a trial. Anyway, back to normal, it's wash day so the machine's on the go and Sainsbury's are due to deliver sometime between 1-2pm.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s a nice day here but chilly out of the sun. I went to the gym this morning, I don’t usually go on Friday but I won’t be there at all next week. There is no dancing tonight as one of our teachers is still testing positive, so we’ve decided to go out for something to eat - my sister gave us a voucher for a local restaurant 18 months ago and the voucher will cover that nicely. Glad to hear that Ed had a good night, there is nowhere like your own bed.

Afternoon all, it’s lovely and sunny here and has warmed up a bit.

I’ve been taking care of the patient this morning, he can only have very short walks at the moment but dug his paws in this morning when we got to the corner and wanted to go towards the common rather than just to the green around the corner and back. We had a stand off for a minute or two but he eventually realised that he wasn’t going to win.

Joe’s just gone to the old fashioned sweet shop in town for some sweets for my Dad, it’s his 89th birthday today. We’ll visit him tonight.

Glad E’s home and on the mend Jen!

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon all :)

Glad that E is safely home, and on the mend Jen :) xx

Walked into town to get a few holiday bits for Mick from M&S, and a birthday present for S, Emma's daughter, who is having a 30th birthday barbecue on Sunday. Hope the weather holds 8-) Walked home via D's and am having half an hour before tackling the ironing.

Love to all :) xx
