Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 01 May 2022, 05:37

Good morning.

How on earth has May come round so quickly?!

29° forecast so I'm away for my walk super early again. :D

It's Mother's Day here so Conor is coming over and taking me (and Don  ) out for lunch. :cute:
A table with a parasol will be a necessity so we'll get there early.

Last week Don and I binge watched the first 4 episodes of The Serpent. Flippin fantastic it was and we'll watch the remaining 4 tonight which I'm really looking forward to.

Have a great day.

Hope E is continuing to recover Jen. xx

Morning Ally, and everyone :)

Happy Spanish Mother's Day Ally :D xx

It's raining here! Hardly any rain here for weeks, and it rains on the day of S's birthday barbecue :cute:  Perhaps it will stop by this afternoon, fingers crossed XX In the meantime we'll do our usual brunch at Corretto's, then take Fraggle round to D's. We can't take him to the barbecue as Em has three cats

Hope E is continuing to do well xx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Sunny and still this morning, although the wind is supposed to pick up later this afternoon

Holiday here and also Mothers Day :D So Grumpy is doing the bbq later

Still not done the vacuuming and mopping  and as the cat has only just come in and gone to bed, don't think it will get done this morning either

Out in the garden after a cooked breakfast.

Hope E has continued recovery and taking it steady x

Hope the rain goes Kaz and you can enjoy the bbq.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

We have had some rain and there are stillgrey skies.

Will just be pootling today as it is too wet to goin the garden.

Have got some marigolds and sunflowers growing. Bought some seeds and just planted them in trays I had when I bought plants last
year. They are outside without any protection. Should survive as it is getting warmer. Wil still buy some begonias from a local
nursery.
Have a good day everybody

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here.

Have a lovely Mothers Day lunch Ally. We loved The Serpent, it was excellent.
Hope it stays dry for the BBQ Kaz.
Enjoy being out in the garden Jan.
Marigolds and sunflowers will really brighten your garden Cruiser.

E managed two little walks yesterday, but that was probably a bit too much. He's had a good exercise session so it won't hurt to stick to one walk today. His appetite is coming back. but it usually takes a week or so for it to get back to normal hence no big roast dinner today, will pop an M&S cottage pie in the oven and forgo the jelly and blancmange this week.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, I didn’t get around to posting yesterday, the day got away from me :D I went into town early, I have a new skirt for which I am trying to get matching tops. I tried on loads of stuff in M&S but nothing was right. In the end I got one black top in TK Maxx. Then there was a mess up with the buses when I was coming home which delayed me so I was quite tired by the time I got home. My sister had gone on an organised foraging walk (Miss Osc had given her a voucher for Christmas) and it was a miserable day but she seemed to enjoy it. She came here afterwards and stayed for dinner. I thought I was getting a cold, felt cold and had the start of a sore throat but I’m fine today. I’ve done all the ironing and am now settling down to watch snooker, hoping Judd Trump will win. I see it has stopped raining, it’s been raining since yesterday morning, I think there is more due though

Good evening.
We have been to see Crommers jnr playing in the Take2 Big Band this afternoon, at Brodsworth Hall (a stately pile in South Yorkshire).
The band were great but jeez, it was cold sitting outside. 10c and a chilly wind.
We are back home now and we're not stirring!
Hope you have enjoyed your days.
