Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 13 May 2022, 05:40

Good morning.

Really hot and sunny. 8-)

As I'd stayed over an extra night last night Don is picking me up at 8.45 this morning as the girls coach picks them up at 9 for their 12.30 flight.

I've had the most fantastic time with the best bunch of friends. :D

I'll do my washing, have a swim and chill out for a couple of hours.

Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather warm already, I'm glowing

Been awake since the early hours, heard all sorts of animals, including Molly and her mate, eggs arrived at 6.25  Well, it's light enough for him to be at work.

I'll get the cleaning done after breakfast and I had hoped to get out onto the garden, but think it will be too hot. Cooling down from the week-end, hopefully, to more normal temperatures.

Made the mistake of cooking yesterday, so it's salad tonight

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy here. We had a lovely happy day yesterday, dancing in the morning and our friends provided a plate of yummy rocky road cakes to have with our after dance cuppa - we usually don’t stay for the cuppa but obviously did yesterday, we always need to be home for Michael and Kellie but we have a half hour built in to the driving time. When we got home, there was a gorgeous personalised balloon and a bottle of champers from Miss Osc and family. Michael and Kellie arrived and presented us with a Crunchie each, they know we love Crunchies, and Kellie had made a lovely card for us. Later we brought them out for something to eat which we all enjoyed, then back here for the requested Viennetta - I’ll pop a couple of pics on the Photo board. We finished the day with me watching the second Eurovision semi-final while emailing back and forth with Michael, who is continuing the family tradition of being a Eurovision fan, and Edward watched footie on the other tv.

So I’d better get on, need to check the spare room as my brother arrives tomorrow for a couple of nights as we have the celebratory family meal out on Sunday. Also other bits and pieces to do, and we’re going dancing tonight.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Glad you had a lovely day yesterday Osc.

Friday wash day for me and a Sainsbury's delivery between 1-2pm. More than enough to keep me busy so E's decided he'll have a stroll round the close today, we'll do the cliff top tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everybody.

Have been to the solicitors. I am changing my will. Then to ther bank to get some money. There are still some shops which only take cash.
At the library, went to the reference section to get information which I cannot get on my computer.
Now back home for lunch.
May do the washing this afternoon as the basket is full.
Have got some gladiola bulbs which want planting and I have four sunflower plants which I have managed to grow from seed.
They are getting too big for the small pots they are in.

Have a good day everybody.
