Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather warm here too.

The plan was weeding this morning, swim, bar this afternoon, footie and then eurovision.

But Grumpy has a medical problem so we'r off to the centro de saude, and it might be a trip to Beja hospital, so we'll wait and see.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is trying to come out but there are some grey clouds.

Waiting for a plumber to come to move two pipes. Thi is so a cover can be fitted over the pips for the new combi boiler. It has been made
and the joiner will come back to fit it. There will be a small shelf at the top and it will need painting.

Have got some lupins flowering. Bought them last year but they got a disease and didn't do well. Now theyare really growing withseveral flowers
on each plant. There will be a good show when they are all out in bloom.

Have a good day everybody.

Good Morning!

Huge excitement here - about a quarter of an hour ago, the Air Ambulance came over our roof and landed in the attenuation tank (thankfully it's currently dry) behind our house, about 50-100 yards from our back fence!
Took a lot of leaves off the trees in next door's garden as it came in and finished off this year's blossom! The skill of the pilot was exceptional!
The two paramedics have gone stalking up Rolls Bridge Way to where the problem is; we heard the emergency sirens earlier- it's probably a heart attack victim; the air ambulance is usually "standby".
There's about 40 folk on the pavement opposite goggling at it.

We are not putting the washing out until it's gone!

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

Hope Grumpy's okay Jan, hugs for you both xxx

Lazing by the pool sounds ideal Ally.
Good luck with the plumber Cruiser.
Kaz Happy Birthday to Chris. The sea has to be well warmed up for me too.
Gosh Ossie, do hope whoever needs it will be okay.

Who's watching Eurovision this evening? We'll be glued to the box hoping Sam Ryder does well, its a good song and he has an amazing voice.

We'll be slapping the sun cream on our faces shortly ready for our walk along the cliff top, never get tired of looking at the sea.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Happy birthday to Chris, Kaz :Hi: :Hi:

Grumpy saw Dr Paulo, who is a lovely doc, gave him some stuff to take for the next 6 days and I'll be ringing a clinic in Beja on Monday for an appointment.

Dr Paulo thinks it's just a bladder infection, but wants the prostate and bladder checked out.

Back rather late, so a quick breakfast, which was almost lunch

B,owing a hooley and rather warm 8-)

Good afternoon.
I hope Grumpy is OK Jan.
Os, excitement!
A Lancaster bomber is due to fly over W Yorks today around 2pm, hopefully it will be near us.
A lovely warm day here, even the sneaky cool breeze has turned warm..
Little Elizahad a touch of Croup on holiday. Parents went to a pharmacy type of thingy and actually saw a doctor immediately! Quite a contrast to this country.
May go to M&S this afternoon, they have a lovely new wine in.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, it’s a gorgeous day here. We’ve been busy this morning tidying up and cleaning around for our little “champagne reception” tomorrow when the family will come here for a celebratory drink before we go for our meal. My brother is on his way from Cork to stay for a couple of nights. Miss Osc went for a pedicure this morning at the nail bar next door and left Kellie with us for a while. I’m going for a manicure at 2pm. Edward is already ensconced in front of the telly watching the buildup to the FA Cup. We’ll be watching the Eurovision tonight although there is no doubt who is going to win  My brother groaned when I said we would be watching it!

Evening all.
Well two lots of excitement here today

First some Pimlico put a bit disposable bag into a rubbish bin which started a fire in the High st.
Second was at Daedalous airport about 30 min walk away--- 6 fire engines 2 Ambulances 2Police cars in attendance as a light aircraft was circling for an hour ,under carriage would not engage down how ever the pilot managed to belly flop onto the grass at the side of main runway.
The airfield is adjacent to a housing estate.

The airfield was formerly a Naval air station in WW2 and was the busiest airfield in the South of England on D Day with British,Canadian and American fighter squadrons operating .
