Kalimera Tuesday!

Postby Kaz » 17 May 2022, 04:34

Morning everyone :)

It's 7.30am here as we're two hours ahead, and we're awake and ready for some brekky  Busy day yesterday as we took a boat trip to Corfu Town, so today will be taking it easy - probably on the little beach here.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning Kaz and everyone. :D

I thought of you last Wednesday Kaz when we were on our boat trip. :cute:

Well. Whoever said normal temps of 30° yesterday was telling big fat lies.

Scorchio again today so I left for a run at 6.30 to dodge the big yellow thing.

I'm going to have a glass of freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice then have a swim.

Methinks today will be spent submerged in water to stay cool.

Have a great day.

Morning Kaz, Ally and everyone

Warm already.

Done all the watering and also two machine loads of washing are out. They'll dry soon and I cana get all the ironing out of the way.

Think it will be a lazy day here too. Although I will ring Sergio later and also try again wit hthe clinic. I e-mailed them but no response, so will have to try and ring. That means I'll be on the phone most of the day

How's E doing Jen?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Well, I should have gone to their website and done it there, rather than e-mail

But I spoke to a very nice young man and he's got his appointment. He apologised profusely, but they are very behind, still, on the scans so it isn't until July

He's much better, thank you Kaz. Just the shock of seeing so much blood almost made his faint. All sorted now, just have to wait.

House now battened down, I didn't even get to do any weeding. Not doing any now, I'd fry

Safe flight to the travellers Saundra x

Morning all, it’s quite dull here with rain forecast for later. Edward is going to play golf but I have to stay home to wait for a delivery. Towards the end of March we ordered two garden chairs from B&Q which we could have collected the next day, but I didn’t think they would fit in the car. When I checked the confirmation email, it said delivery the week starting 16th May  :o B&Q is a half hour drive from here! Once they arrive, we’re probably guaranteed to have a bad summer

My friend in NZ has been awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild - her daughter was in labour for about 40 hours and our schoolfriends WhatsApp has been very active. He finally arrived around 7.15am our time this morning. With two of us in Dublin, two in the US and herself in NZ, we still all managed to keep in touch through it. G’s daughter never expected to become pregnant as her hubby had chemo previously, and she is polycystic, so very exciting for them all.

Morning all :D

Another lovely sunny day.

Enjoy the beach Kaz.
Spending the day submerged in water sounds a good plan Ally.
Glad Grumpy's feeling much better Jan. July does seem a long time to wait, but it can be a lot longer here.
Saundra safe journey to Scarlett, she'll have so much to tell you when they next visit.
A new baby, exciting time for your friend and her family Osc.

E's doing really well Jan, yesterday's walk along the cliff top was lovely, he walking further each time. I took lots of pills in an effort to keep up with him, only had a couple of sit downs, but must admit I did overdo it a bit, my ankle wasn't at all happy by the time we got back to the car. We'll be doing the same again today, but think I'll be doing more observing ;)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon all.
Eliza here, we are going shopping in a while.
Neighbour Wayne has an infection of the respiratory tract. I've seen him out walking the dogs today, he looks like death warmed up.
It's a beautiful day here, lovely and warm.
Have a good day everyone.
