Good Morning Sunday

Postby Kaz » 22 May 2022, 07:35

Morning everyone :)

I still seem to be two hours ahead :? Awake early again, been up a while. All the holiday washing done, it's dry and sunny so the last of it should dry on the line.Out for brekky in a bit, then round to D's. Lamb for dinner later.

Ally, just seen a news article about your extreme temps  Take care out there xxx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Lazy Sunday for us, E will probably have a walk round the close later, but I'm doing as little as possible  We'll be having rotisserie chicken with salad for dinner later. Oh and definitely back to normal, there's a vanilla blancmange and lemon and lime jelly in the fridge ready for pud 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone.
Grey here but not cold.
We've had Sunday dinner now it's a lazy day.

Got half a dozen eggs today, I notice that the price has gone up.
Steve and Nicola next door have gone on holiday to Sharm El Sheikh today for a fortnight, hope they have a good time.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Afternoon all, cloudy and sunny day here. Michael and Kellie have gone home, they were so good and we love that we are still able to have them, but it was pretty full on! Yesterday was so busy for us all, we had the funeral at 10am, the children were very good at getting up and out early. After the mass, my sister took them, brought them back here, gave them lunch and made sure they were where they should be - Kellie to dancing, then the two of them to their cousin’s First Communion party, while we went off to the crematorium and afterwards to a local pub, where there was food laid on and it was good to catch up with family. I collected Michael at 5.30 as he was playing tennis, waited for him and by the time we got back home, Kellie has been brought back from the party by SIL’s brother. We were all in bed very early!!

Today we took it easy, got up around 8am, Edward made pancakes for breakfast and we had a leisurely morning. I made sure they both had showers, one thing less for Miss Osc to organise tonight, and the school clothes are washed and ready for tomorrow. Miss Osc and SIL got back here at 3.30pm, SIL took Michael and they headed home to watch the Liverpool match. Miss Osc stayed to chat for a little while, then took Kellie and our car to go to the supermarket - she gets a car this week to replace the one from the crash and we don’t need ours for the next few days. We’re pretty tired now after such a busy weekend!
