Morning Ally, morning everyone

We had a gorgeous sunrise, but the clouds have come back and we're just white  And not that warm

Off to Ourique this morning, to see our solicitor and then do the supermarket stuff. Pit stop for coffee on the way back.

Then I'd like to get out onto the garden and do some weeding and dead-heading. The wind has dropped from hooley level, so should be okay 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two - morning everyone

Ally, I'd love some of your warmth! Enjoy the lunch with the family x
Jan, your weather really is odd. Hope you get everything done in town and also that you get into the garden; have fun

A rather dull and nippy day here. Our night time temperatures still aren't getting to over 10, which admittedly does make for pleasant sleeping temperatures but still would be nice for it to be a bit warmer ;-)
working from home day today so will do a few things in between. Going for a walk with Amelia and the dogs (weather depending) at about 2.30 so late'ish lunch break for me and then picking up a friend this evening from the local train station (she's coming up from Dorset), we will have a bite to eat and then I'll take her to Heathrow for her flight to South Africa.

Have a fab day everyone x

Morning all, and what a start to the day I had

I took Bill out at 6.30, out the back gate and as we walked around the corner I realised how chilly it was and thought about going in the front door and getting a warmer jacket. I changed my mind though, thinking I’d warm up as we walked (I didn’t). That was a HUGE mistake

We got back an hour later, in through the back gate, I reached into my pocket for my keys and they weren’t there. Tried the other pocket. Nope. I remembered picking everything up but my keys, and I usually say to John that I have them as I leave.
Of course, Joe’s in Kos, John had left for work and I must’ve missed Tom leaving by minutes. Poor John had just arrived at work and had to come all the way back to let me in with his key. He found me sitting in the cold, very windy and drizzly garden with Bill standing by door and wondering why he wasn’t allowed in

Joe and Amanda FaceTimed us at Midnight, they’d arrived at the hotel and had a huge plate of sandwiches and snacks. The hotel had arranged food for the latecomers and delivered it to their rooms which was a nice gesture. They gave us a tour of the room and I woke this morning to find that he’d sent me a photo of the view from their balcony at 5am (7 for them I think), he said he was tired but didn’t want to waste time lying in bed. Shortly after I got up a photo arrived of his breakfast

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s another dull day weather-wise although the sun seems to be making an effort. I had a lovely time yesterday evening with Miss Osc and my sister, nice meal and then thoroughly enjoying Anything Goes. It’s quite an old style musical, but has great songs, was bright and colourful and generally great fun. I’m off to the gym this morning and plenty to do at home when I get back, and supermarket delivery due later in the afternoon.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here and the temperature has definitely dropped

Gosh Jo, sitting in the drizzle without a coat wasn't much fun. I have a dread of forgetting my keys, E always laughs when I check my bag AFTER I've closed the front door

Luckily we managed to dodge the showers going to Waitrose yesterday morning and even managed a little walk on the way back. In the afternoon we had the full works, hail, lightening and torrential rain

We'll be doing a proper walk along the cliff top again today, nothing else planned.

Hope you all have a good day xx

We have a key safe box, on the garage wall. Mick thought it a good idea after B locked herself out a few times  Jo it's horrid being locked out, poor you :( xxx
On a happier note, how nice you can live Joe's holiday vicariously :P  :cute:  xx

Glad you enjoyed your evening out Osc :D xx

Enjoy your walk Jen xx

Good afternoon everybody.

It has been cloudy with a wind but no rain yet.
Have finished boxing in the gas pipe and put undercoat on it. Have walked tom the chemist to get my repeat prescriptions.
On the way back, met a lady who I have known for many years and we stopped for several minutes chatting.
I have also had a new paper shredder delivered. The existing one is everal years old and has stopped working.
It would probably cost more than a new one to have it repaired. Now just relaxing.
Have a good day everybody
