Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 06 Jul 2022, 03:59

Good morning.

Obviously not having the scorchio temps that Don's reporting to me daily  but as of yet I've still not needed a jacket since arriving here.
Which is just as well as I didn't bring one.

We had a lovely day yesterday culminating in a visit to Kelvingrove museum where I bought a ticket for the John Patrick Byrne exhibition which I'll attend when I come back up here in August. :D

Today I'm getting the bus into Motherwell.
I'll do a spot of shopping then I'm meeting uncles Stefan and Stanley for lunch. :D

Around 5pm Michelle and I are going to the local where she works (she's on a week's holiday looking after her guest  ) and bringing some friends back here and she's doing an Indian buffet.
She's a bloomin excellent cook! :P

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Mist on it's way out and the sun will be out soon and then we're getting hotter and hotter this week.

Blimey Ally, you were up early  I was too, but reading in the spare room 8-)

Enjoy your family lunch Ally x

Off to Ourique soon, need more compost and also money  Aldi and chemist then back for breakfast.

Just need to finish off the cuttings and that will be it for me today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

There is some light rain but the sky is trying to brighten up so we may have some sun later.

Am goig shopping if the buses are not on strike. There is talk of the drivers joining the ones in Liverpool who have been on strike for several days.

Will then be just bpootling as it is too wet to do any gardening.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Have a good time catching up with your uncles, Ally :) I probably would have enjoyed that exhibition but I know a man who certainly would, It’s Mick’s thing for sure  I prefer sculpture, it’s just so tactile :) xx

Hope you get what you need in Orique Jan :) xx

Saundra we have heavy clouds, but no rain forecast xx

Hope you get your bus Cruiser! No strikes here yet, but the service has gone so far downhill lately it’s hard to tell  xx

I’m waiting for Em to pick me up, we’re off to Cheltenham for shopping and lunch :) That’ll make a nice change 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine 8-)

We're off out for a walk along the seafront later. The climb back up the steps is getting a little bit easier as in I don't have to stop every few steps, but it's still a trial. No need to rush back so we'll treat ourselves to a light lunch while we're at the harbour. Still having to use an ice pack when we get home, but just being out for a walk makes it worth while.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, we were up and out early as Edward was doing some painting for his sister, she who was recently widowed. She is doing well and keeping herself busy. Since we got back home, I’ve been doing bits and pieces so just got around to posting now. I was very efficient and got two loads of washing out on the line last night, and they will have benefitted from today’s breeze - it’s been mostly cloudy but warmer than of late.
