Postby Ally » 28 Jul 2022, 06:11

Good morning.

The very pleasant weather continues. :D
Not missing the 40° degrees Don's got at home.

Today's outing is to Nottingham's Arboretum.
We're going to walk there and back so lots of leg work.
Really looking forward to it.

Fish and chips for dinner tonight. :D
Going to George's Great British Kitchen. :P

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Bit chilly in the wind this morning, even put a cardi on to do the watering  Warming up later 8-)

I'm going to have to scrub the pool surround as the blasted birds are using it as a toilet  They want the water, keep hopping on the cover and poop everywhere  It's not as if there isn't other water bowls around, but they make a mess of those too

Enjoy the arboretum Ally, we used to love going to Westonbirt.

Out for dinner tonight, I'm fed up with salads

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally and Jan, morning everyone

Enjoy the walk and the arboretum Ally - looking forward to photos ;-)
Jan, enjoy the dinner tonight - food always tastes better when you don't have to cook it yourself :D

Well early start for me today - had to update our website just after 7am so cracked on with other bits. I never did get to Sainsbury's yesterday and was going to do that early this morning but will now swap things around and head out shortly instead.

Not much else going on besides the usual

have a lovely day all x

Good morning everybody.

Going to the bank. Have to get some cash as most of the small shops which I use only accept cash. The banks charge if they use credit cards.
THen some shopping and home to do housework.
It is cloudy but no rain.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a dull day here. We got our second boosters yesterday and I have reacted rather badly. When I went to bed last night I was shivering with the cold, ended up putting on socks and my dressing gown. I was warm by about 3am but then had the other extreme, burning up with aching joints as well. I never slept all night, just about an hour between 7-8am this morning. I have had my breakfast and am heading back to bed having taken some paracetamol, hopefully I’ll sleep. We are going away tomorrow for the weekend but I have everything pretty well organised as I was afraid this would happen. I’m having my nails done at 6pm so with any luck I’ll feel a lot better by then.

Morning all :)

Ally, arboretums are lovely places to walk. Westonbirt Arboretum here in Gloucestershire is absolutely beautiful. oh and I see Jan's already mentioned it  Have a brilliant day :) xx

Jan you get sick of salads, don't you? xx

Have a good one Ria :) xx

You too Cruiser :) xx

Sorry you had such a bad reaction Osc, sounds similar to how I was after my first AZ jab ((((hugs)))) xx

I'm still full of covid, did another test and it came up a strong positive immediately! Really sick of being sick, I'm not very patient with myselfwhen I'm ill :cute:   Mick had a very faint result, so is much better, but was hoping for a negative so he could go to a memorial service this afternoon :( He's insisting on putting in a few hours at his desk for work, so am letting him get on with it - he'll log out if he feels poorly.

I am waiting for a telephone appointment with the doctor, nothing to do with the covid, this was made at their request a couple of weeks ago. I'm assuming it's about the blood tests I had a few weeks back. The only time frame they gave was morning, good job I have nothing better to do!

Take care everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Another sunny day beckons, we have a lovely seaside breeze so it's just perfect 8-)

We were up early, well for us anyway  I've got a 12 o'clock appointment at the hairdresser. Not sure if it will be the car or the bus, E's decided to come in with me and have a nice stroll around the harbour with his camera. Expect he'll pop in somewhere for a pint too. Not too much walking for me today, the big walk two days on the trot is lovely but not a good idea, I needed continual ice packs yesterday when we got back, nightmare :|

Hope you all have a good day xx
