Here we go again!

Postby JoM » 09 Sep 2022, 16:14

I’ve had a cough all week, and yesterday I was tired and couldn’t get warm.
I tested negative on Wednesday and again yesterday (thought I’d better test again because of going to the match last night), today my symptoms have changed to a blocked nose and sore throat.

I’ve just tested again to be on the safe side because of having to drop shopping into my parents later - immediate positive.

Oh no, Jo! Really sorry to hear this, so take care ((((((((x)))))))

My Chris has it too, at the moment. I think he's the last one in the family to get it, apart from Doreen (thank goodness!!)

Grief Jo! You must be a Covid magnet.

Hope it's only mild and you make a quick recovery. xx

Thanks all, Joe’s now worrying because he insisted on not taking a bottle of water to the match last night and then decided he’d share mine.

I’m feeling guilty because we gave his lovely and very sweet friend a lift to Stoke on the way home.

Al, John did a negative test when he got home and then dropped the shopping around to their doorstep so they’ve got supplies for the next few days.

Kaz, hope Chris isn’t too bad and that D stays clear! It’s a funny thing, Tom’s still not had it despite living here with the three of us when we all had it earlier this year and you’d think working in a school would make it a cert!

Tom must be one of those people with natural immunity, Jo!

I hope both Joe and his friend will be ok - don't feel guilty though, you weren't to know! (((((x)))))

Chris said earlier that he thinks he's getting better - he felt ill for a few days before testing, so hopefully is over the worst.

I hope you feel better soon xxxxx
