Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 13 Sep 2022, 05:36

Good morning.

Yippee. A far more sensible September 29°. :cute:

I'm away for my walk shortly, a swim when I get back then get ready to go with Don to take the car for it's ITV which has 1.21pm as its allotted time.

Only going as over where the poligono is there's a mas supermarket that I want to have a mooch in and we can do that as the car's being done.

Good TV tonight on BBC 4 and 1. ;)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A cool 24C here, with sunshine and more rain to come :Hi: :Hi:

Woken up at three, by the rain hammering on the roof  Molly came in for an early breakfast, then went back to bed

The cleaning operation starts this morning. I'm going to be strapped up, as this hernia is beginning to concern me and I really don't want to make it worse. So the small bedroom will be "bottomed" Mattress will be vacuumed and then turned, vacuumed on the other side, bedframe cleaned and then new bedding put on. The room itself is quite small, so it won't take long.

Ironing to be done too

Good luck for the car Ally.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Don't overdo it Jan xx

Up at silly o'clock, hairdresser appointment at 11am, like to give myself plenty of time to wake up and have a proper brekkie. E's going to meet me afterwards and we'll have lunch at the Pavilion as I've got a gynae check this evening. I usually have to wait around and don't fancy cooking when I finally get home.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all. I woke at 6.30am and it looked like it was going to be a lovely day, so I put on a wash and went back to bed so I could put it out on the line when I got up. Fast forward three hours and I’m hanging out said washing on a cloudy, windy and very chilly day  Mostly h/work for me today. Edward is pottering about on the terrace getting it ready for the autumn/winter. I also need to renew my prescriptions and book hair appointments for next week.

Morning all.
A lovely morning it is too.
Jan, Molly is a very sensible cat!
I have an appointment this afternoon with the arthritis nurse, we will have an easy tea of bacon and scrambled eggs.
Also we may go into town to pay the car insurance.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, it's a beautiful day, very high thin clouds and hardly a breeze.

I need a gas cansister swap for the camping stove - just in case. Then I need to check out the solar panels and camping lights; also just in case. The lights (three of them) are each about the same as an old 60w bulb and last about six hours.

I also need some waterproofing for my outdoor jackets then I think I am set.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Jan, do be careful xx

Cruiser, I’m sure the charity shops will appreciate such lovely clothes xx

Good luck for your appointment later, Jen xx

Osc, isn’t that always the way? xx

Good luck with your appointment too Crommers xx

Have a good one Frank xx

We’ve been out, walking Fraggle round the Docks, had a quick cuppa at Portivo Lounge, then nipped into Sainsburys for some milk for D. Round there now, watching the news and having a sandwich. D has been baking fruit cake, the smell is gorgeous 8-) 8-)

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :) xxx

Weve had lots of lovely rain :Hi: :Hi: Another inch in the pool today with more to come tomorrow :Hi: :Hi:

Really hot sun and blue sky this afternoon, so everything dry, even Molly's little house, which got soaked yesterday.

Footie watching now 8-)

This week-ends plans have changed, we were supposed to go to an afternoon tea birthday party, but there are some rather unpleasant people going, so I've called and declined. Means I don't have to cook a shed load of stuff, which I could do without at the moment, too much to do anyway.
