Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 02 Oct 2022, 05:16

Good morning.

Very warm and sunny. 8-)

Conor stopped over last night as Lucia and her family are in Nerja to celebrate St Michael's day and as Lucia's dad's name is Miguel....any excuse.

We're being taken out to lunch today (I should be a right fatso  ) so after a walk and quick swim I'll watch last night's SCD before we go. :cute:

More SCD, Frozen Planet and Bloodlands tonight. Perfect Sunday viewing. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely, sunny and warm morning.

Kiddlywinks still in bed  , adults up and full of coffee.

Think they're planning another morning out, then back for pool and sun bathing.

Grandson is bbq king, apparently, so he's in charge of this afternoon's bbq, along with grand daughters boyfriend. Muggins is doing all the rest of it

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you two and everyone :D hope everyone is well?

Ally and Jan, have lovely day with the respective families - lots of posts for me to read and catch up on

The 10 days in Greece were amazing, with little to no tech. I had my kindle for books but besides that I checked work emails once a day and WhatsApp'd only a few people whilst away plus the occasional quick look at Facebook to see what people were up to, but that was about it - and it was quite liberating :D.

Got back Friday late - and only plugged in the laptop about 20 minutes ago so here we are - back in the world of tech

About to head over to Karl and Nadine. Nadine has sold something and it's being collected today; but the whole family is heading over to Cardiff for the day and the buyer doesn't want to leave the money through the letterbox so I said I'd pop over to hand over the item and take the cash. Will try get an hour or so at the allotment as well if the weather clears. Rather wet and grey at the moment, but allegedly sunshine is expected at some point this afternoon.

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Good morning everybody,

The sun is out and not a cloud in sight. There is still a gentle breze so it is getting cold.
Had very heavy rain and strong winds during the night. The sound of the rain on the window woke me up.
Another day of tidying up and elaxing.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all.
The distance yo walk Ally, you're not going to be a fatty! Welcome back Ria, I'm glad you had a super holiday. Enjoy the family Jan and it has rained overnight here too Cruiser.
One is somewhat stiff this morning. I was out cutting back the neighbour's mile-a-minute yesterday and having to reach up well above my head to do it with the shears. I'll have to get a pole chainsaw or something next time.
We haven't seen ratty for a couple of days. We've taken the bird feeders down and it's broken MrsC's heart. The blue tits and goldfinches have been coming but there's nothing for them.
The family are all coming for dinner which will be nice. Apart from that it's a quiet Sunday for us.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all, it’s a pleasant day here. I plan to finish off the ironing today, only five shirts so I’ll whizz through them. We are going to watch Kellie playing soccer at 1pm, then back for Edward to watch golf. I’ll watch some too, but I also want to put away some summer clothes and take out winter ones - I never have autumn clothes  We’re watching Bloodlands too, but not SCD.

Afternoon all :D

Was dull and overcast all morning, but the sun's out now.

Welcome back Ria, glad you had a lovely holiday.

Both my arms feel a bit sore after my jabs, but other than that I feel fine. E isn't sore at all.

A lazy Sunday for us, cooking dinner is the only job I intend to do. We really enjoyed our roast chicken and veg last week, so more of the same today. It's choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud. Then an evening watching the box, so many good things on at the moment. Loving Strictly, wonder who will be out tonight.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all :)

Ally, you never stay still long enough to get fat :D  xxx

Enjoy the family BBQ, Jan xxx

Lovely to have you back Ria, glad you enjoyed your break - whereabouts in Greece did you go? xxx

Hope you have a good day, Cruiser xxx

Ouch, Crommers! Take it easy xxx

Osc I did that with most of my clothes yesterday, although there are still some winter jumpers to get out xxx

Roast chicken sounds good, Jen xxx

We were out fairly early for brunch, but I got the slow cooker all loaded up for a beef casserole before we left - the smell was lovely when we got home 8-) We're having it with garlic bread later :) Planning a lazy afternoon with the papers, and catching up with Professor T on the player 8-)

Love to all xxx
