Both of our lads have them for if they’re travelling, they’re cheap to buy and are a handy little device.
Thanks, Jo, but still no good for calls in a blackout if the mast is also down. And, and, the power cuts will be advertised in advance and only last for three hours. My phone lasts days on standby so i'll just charge it when the power is on then drive miles to a non-blackout area if I want to make a call.... or maybe not.
