Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 26°. 8-)

I'll head off for a walk to end up at my hairdresser for 11. I swear it was only last week and not last month I did the same!

Home to shower etc then off to Carre Four as I got a flyer informing me they have a sale.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Raining :Hi: :Hi: Dark and cool and only 24C (light the fire!!!) But wet stuff is forecast for the next week or so :Hi:

Alan and Nina will arrive this afternoon, so we're meeting them at the bar, so we can collect two parcels of batteries for Grumpy's drills. One arrived yesterday, the other is scheduled for today. 100€ for three batteries

I'll cook the main course for dinner this morning, It always taste better when it's warmed up and is quite nice cold too   Other stuff will be done tonight.

There will be lots of talking and catching up, as we've not seen them for over three years. First met them in Fuzeta, many years ago.

Havea good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

merry morning you two and everyone

Ally, enjoy the shopping - will it be a case of finding something you didn't realise you needed but have bought because it's a good price?
Jan, have a fab time with your visitors. What are you making for dinner? Re the batteries for tools, they have gone up in price here as well; I was looking to buy another two not so long ago but figured I'd leave it for now :D

Well day 3 in the office this week. Was saying to a colleague yesterday that I don't mind being in the office and it's always nice to see people and chat, but the commute really annoys me - or rather not the actual commute but the people. Some are just so rude and/or inconsiderate. But hey ho :D

Damp and drizzly today and meant to be like this for a few days now so will be good to work from home tomorrow and hopefully most of next week ;-)

have a fab day everyone xx

Morning all, it’s sort of sunny here, a great improvement after yesterday’s biblical weather. However, it’s a sad day because one of my sister’s best friends since schooldays has died. She has been unwell for about seven weeks, although my sister said she had been looking unwell for longer than that. Just over two weeks ago, she started getting pains, initially she thought they were muscular but then they started moving around - back, chest, shoulders - so she went to the doctor, saw a locum who said it was muscle pain and prescribed Valium :? No improvement, so she went back again, saw her own doctor who got bloods done and said she might have an ulcer or gallbladder problems. In the meantime she had virtually taken to her bed, feeling ill and dizzy and not eating. Finally a friend drove her to A&E last Saturday and she was admitted and they were to do a CAT scan. Yesterday morning early they moved her to ICU, late yesterday evening they said they were just making her comfortable, and she died this morning. Her sister was on holiday in America but arrived back in the early hours, so thankfully got to say goodbye. She would be a friend of ours also, we’ve known her and her sister since they were in school, they lived across the road from my parents. Such a shock.

We are off to dance practice shortly, then back to collect Kellie from school and have her here for the afternoon, my sister was to do it but she is very upset so we stepped in.

Morning all :D

Wet, wet, wet

Hope you haircut goes well Ally.
Enjoy time with your friends Jan, dinner sounds lovely.
Hope the commute isn't too awful today Ria.
Sorry about your sisters friend Osc, what a shock.

I set the alarm for 9am, just as well, we were both out cold  The new freezer is due sometime between 11.40-1.40. They texted to say they'll ring when they're 30mins out. Hoping the rain slows down a bit, also hope they're early rather than late as we'd like to get over to Westwood Cross and M&S for a few bits.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon all.
The child Eliza is here; her school has been kept indoors all day because of the weather so she's a bit hyper.
Osc, that is very sad.
The weather started off dark, damp and drizzly this morning before it started to rain really heavily. It's still raining now but not as bad.
The money has gone really well this week so I'm waiting for the inevitable unexpectd bill to appear and smack me in the chops, because that does always seem to happen.
Keep warm and dry everyone. (We've cracked, the central heating is on!).
