Good morning.

Another sunny day and 24°. 8-)

Jacob's coming over this morning and we're going to Tivoli market. :D

We'll have a walk around the area then go for lunch. :D

Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning again and another 22C for us. Although that sun was really hot yesterday. Too hot for Grumpy, he had to stop cutting back plants and come inside.

Cleaning head on for me this morning. Vacuum fully charged, mop, and then I'll do bugger all

Back is telling me ot have a day off, so that's what I'll do.

Grumpy is having a fish day. Mackerel on toast (with a glass of port) for breakfast, then herrings in some sort of sauce (tinned again) for dinner. I'll be having pasta for dinner and sitting far away from him

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally.

It is cloudy but no rain and warm considering it is November.
Have ben to the doctors to pick up a form as I have to have another blood test. Hada phone call from the doctpor yesterday afternoon who said he did
not like one of the results.
Have booked an appointment for Tuesday morning for the blod test.
Will be going shopping later as there will be parades on Sunday and I want to watch the ceremony at the Cenotaph.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all

Ally, enjoy the day with Jacob and then your regular Friday evening :D
Jan, take it easy and listen to your back - and yup, keep distance from Grumpy :D
Cruiser, good luck with the tests x

Early start for me today - left the house just before 7 to drive to a large B&Q in Farnborough to look at flooring so I could get there and back before I needed to log on for work. I'm having a wall removed on Monday and because I've got the same flooring throughout the flat I need to find more to fill the gap the wall will leave. Unfortunately the flooring I have no longer is available so I'll be lifting what there is the hallway and then finding something else to replace that area; managed to fine one that looks quite similar so think I can get away with it. Originally I thought about having something totally different, but having it all the same makes the place look bigger / more open.

Today's job is to take photo's of my leather sleeper couch and see if I can sell it. It was so expensive to buy a few years back and I know I'll never get anywhere near what it's worth. Not helped that I'm in a bit of a quandary whether selling that one is the right thing to be doing vs giving my other sofa away. The other sofa is a electric leather recliner and whilst it by far is the more comfy sofa of the two to sit on it is about 10 years old and and will be the easier one to give away / sell for a pittance (esp as I've left things a bit late and need to downsize to only one sofa asap).

Oh well, such is life

Have a good day everyone x

With dad's electric recliner sofa and two chairs we wanted to give to a charity shop but even though they were in superb condition they didn't have the bang up to date safety regulations.

Luckily i mentioned it when in dad's local pub and a customer gladly took it for his son's youth club. :D

We were really happy (as my folks would've been) it was going to get continued good use.

Thanks Ally; I'm sure someone will happily take the recliner off my hands; I can't ask much (in fact if anything) for it because of it's age and therefore wear and tear etc; also not helped that people seem to expect everthing to be free these days ;-)

The sofa bed cost me an absolute arm and a leg when I bought it; it's hardly been used and is in excellent condition - but I just know people won't be willing to pay what it's worth :(

Morning all, it’s mostly sunny here but extremely windy and not cold. This morning we are going to the funeral that we thought was last Friday, at least I know my way to the church :D Tesco delivery this afternoon then out dancing tonight.

I can't keep both Saundra; I'm swopping my bedroom and lounge around which means downsizing the lounge. I just won't be able to fit both sofa's in so one of them has to go unfortunately
