For those who don't watch this stuff, Twitter has started releasing evidence of a moderation bias which has flooded the company for years now. Part 1 is the Hunter Biden laptop story and how they suppressed it.

It is already being played down by the same press who were keen to not report it. But it shows a real problem high up in Twitter.

So far, part 1 is setting the scene. This, I suspect, has a long way to go. It is a factor I didn't look at when predicting that governments all around the world would fall on Twitter like the hammer of the gods. Because every government has something to hide and many of them are left of centre in the leading democracies. Meaning they found Twitter more than amenable to use the airbrush on stuff they didn't want around.

This hardly has the flash/bang of the modern world's media. Flash in the pan and forgotten in a week. It looks to me more like a slow fuse where evidence of tampering will be visible over years and many subjects.

If you do follow it I suggest waiting until the thread is done before reading it as it attracts tens of thousands of replies and the replies are so fast that you keep losing the thread and have to back out and go in again. For those of us who already know that the press and media have a left wing bias and are eager to be manipulated by the "right" people, this is no real surprise. It is, however, evidence to back up the belief.

It's very noticable that the story of how Twitter concealed the Hunter Biden laptop story is hardly featuring in the MSM in the UK.

They are trying to dumb it all down and dismiss it.

Yet Twitter had a places call (like zoom or teams without video), with 1.1m people active on it.

This will rumble on for a while.

It is getting very murky now.
Musk set two journalists on to investigate what has been happening at Twitter before he bought it.

They have now found out that a Twitter employee had been vetting the files which Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss — the journalists Musk appointed to do the story — were allowed to see. And that somebody was Jim Baker, the former FBI general counsel who, extraordinarily enough, has the title of Twitter Deputy General Counsel. Or rather he did. Musk sacked him yesterday.

So it is starting to look like the FBI and Twitter were working hand-in-glove to suppress what they deemed to be ‘misinformation’ — which actually turned out to be a true story about the now President’s son. The level of ‘collusion’ — to use a word we heard a lot in relation to Russia and Trump in 2016 — between law enforcement agencies, partisan political actors, and Big Tech is starting to become clear.

And still not one word in the British media. Well, well, well.

It gets even better. That same person was an avenue of disinformation about the Trump/Russia influence which emanated from the Clinton camp. A claim which was fast tracked through the media with virtually zero scrutiny and presented as virtual fact.

It's clear that some stuck the course in Twitter to try and control what could be found and publicised. Hopefully this latest sacking will set the score straight. If you were doing something wrong and you are trying to hide it; leave; now.
