Hmm. Well that wasn't very impressive. One completely unable to cross the road and two others not moving at all. Looking at that dog in the first clip I was waiting for it to cock it's leg up on one of the robots!

Well I agree, there is the US campus and there is a busy UK street in "daylight hell" otherwise known as the rush hour. Which morphs into night time hell in winter.

It is not quite as dramatic as the dozen Cruise autononmous taxi's which suddenly stopped in Frisco and blocked a whole intersection.

Baby steps.

Well they make Saundra and me smile and we are happy with that.

They spread a bit of cheer and for that I am grateful

But I would add they have them from the Co-Op where I work and believe me salubrious it ain't. Has more shoplifters than customers most days and is surrounded in a comforting haze of cannabis 8-)

But there is also a lot of terraced housing and the elderly are happy to have a robot deliver a bit of shopping at night or in bad weather rather than risk tripping on the pavements or being mugged. And for 99p you cant blame them

They are not trying to challenge the big boys, the Amazon Prime delivery drivers, the supermarket with its online shop. They deliver a few items, in a leisurely manner and they do it with politeness and cheer.

I like them, many like them. So with a smile and a wave like a little starship robot, I'll leave it there
