Another gorgeous day.

We'll pack up, check out of the hotel, put the rucksacks in the car then go and have breakfast.
Not a full English but a more sensible Spanish tostada and coffee.

After a shopping mooch and a final visit to the beach we'll head home.

Conor's going to be dropped off at ours on his way home from Granada and we're going out for a beer and a bite to eat with him.

Will be cleaning and dusting as my son is coming on Friday just for the day. Then just relaxing watching TV or listening to the radio.

Dull, but dry.

We were up at silly o'clock to get ready for the invasion. Expecting them any time now. Everything's nicely prepped, just got to throw the bubble and squeak in the oven nearer lunch.

Morning all, it’s a brighter morning than was expected but still damp and not so pleasant. We had a nice time in town yesterday, it was busy in the shops that were open. Edward bought trousers and I got a pair of fun ankle boots, think Jimmy Nail and Crocodile Shoes! We’ve just done a sort out of Edward’s trousers, he always maintains he has none six not counting the two pairs he got yesterday ……. Some are being retired though, and we both struggle with telling black from navy I need to take up the ones he bought yesterday, but that is a job for another day. Today it’s mostly ironing, and I want to put dates for 2023 on to the calendar we bought yesterday. Usually my nephew’s wife gives us a nice one with plenty of room for writing on, however this year she gave a very small one with no space for each day, but I got a nice one with Van Gogh pictures on it, half price

Morning all, hope you all had a lovely Christmas

I’m at that time during the week between Christmas and New Year where I don’t know what day it is - I expected to see a Wednesday thread

Off out to my Dad’s for a cuppa after I’ve done the ironing, then back to make chilli for lunch. Me and Joe are leaving for Manchester around 5ish although I’ll look at the Highways England app an hour or so before to check on the M6. We didn’t bother going to the league cup game last week but this is the first of five trips up there between now and Jan 14th.

Right, that ironing isn’t going to do itself is it?!

Just had a phone call to say that Gabi is on his way to collect the car, for it's annual Algarve holiday. A full service and mot will be done. Good bloke, Gabi. He loves cars and the mechanics of it. He's so good, he does the Dakar rally, as one of the mechanics. Clever lad. And charges us next to nothing, even better
