Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 31 Dec 2022, 05:58

Good morning.

Forecast sunny and 23°. 8-)

Does anyone else think 2022 flew by in the blink of an eye?!

Conor stopped over last night and after bacon rolls he'll head home.

Jacob's flying back from Craig's today. We'll see him tomorrow as he's got a party tonight. :x

We're meeting friends for lunch at 3pm. :D

We'll come home around 7 then head back out at 11.30pm to meet everyone outside the town hall for the bells at midnight and eating the 12 grapes. :D

We'll all pile into a bar after that for a few beers.

Wishing everyone a safe, healthy and happy 2023. :Hi:

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

It is raining.
Had a good day yesterday with my son. He arrived at 11.00 a.m. We went out for lunch to a Presto pub. It serves Italian food. It was a birthday treat.
His birthday is 1st January. He was the first baby born in Wigan on 1st January 1959. He had a couple of glasses of wine. I only had water as I was driving.

Will have a relaxing day. May stay up to watch the New Year in on TV.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Clouds and sun at the moment, but another warm day at 21C 8-)

We really will cover the fruit trees today. We keep getting sidetracked  Will also finish off weeding the gravel, so happy donkeys :D

Not going anywhere, not a difficult decision, without a car, so will have a couple of beers, sat in the sun and then keema curry and chips for dinner 8-)

Cruiser, one of our granddaughters was the first baby born on January 1st, 20 years ago.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing and all the very best for you all for 2023 xx

Morning all, it’s wet and dreary here. Edward is busy doing veg and shepherds pie for the freezer, and I’ll be putting washing in the machine and doing some ironing. No plan for tonight, we’ve never been bothered about NYE, and quite often we are in bed before midnight. Happy New Year to you all!

Morning all.
Another grey damp day here. Dreary is the right word for it.
It's nice that you enjoyed your time with your son Cruiser.
Jan, I like the sound of curry and chips! Hope you get the car back soon.
Osc, we're not big on New Year's Eve either, we're always in bed before midnight.

Morning all :)

Ally, it did seem to! xx

Jan, happy donkeys :D xx

Cruiser, Happy Birthday to your son for tomorrow xx

Osc, we don’t bother either xx

Dreary weather here too Crommers xx

We’re having brunch in Portivo Lounge as it’s too windy for the awnings outside Corretto’s. It’s very nice in here, and they allow “well behaved “ dogs  He does his best  Round to D’s in a while. I took down the tree etc yesterday so all clean and tidy for the New Year :)

Here’s to a happy and healthy 2023 to us all on VV :D

Morning all :)

Wet and windy

It's batten down the hatches here, definitely not weather to be out in. Not much planned, we'll be seeing the New Year in with a bottle of bubbly.

Happy New Year Image
