Morning Ally, morning everyone

Bit over cast at the moment, but we're forecast high cloud, sun and 21C :Hi:

Eggs are arriving earlier each week, as it gets lighter. 7.10 this morning ;) on his way to work.

Meeting Pedro this morning, so he can follow us up to the house, Trying to give directions is easy, but they always take the wrong turn, so we're meeting him at the bar and he can work his magic on the water heater. Or we might have to replace it, as it's 20 years old

I'm doing porco preto bochechas for dinner tonight. Black pork pig cheeks. I've checked the recipe with Jan and her mum in law (who is a fantastic cook) and although they both suggested more massa pimento, I'm going to try it as it is, I can always add to it next time. Funny that, as most Portuguese don't like anything to hot, spice wise. So we'll see. Takes about three hours in the oven.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

And it's Carnival for the next four days throughout the country :D

Madness will ensue, Ourique is having the children's day today and Tuesday for the big one, with little bits and bobs going on inbetween.

Loule is the biggie, but all towns and cities will have their own themes. Will be all over the news for the next few days

Morning all.

It is clear but windy here with steady winds of 77 km/h (48 mph) and gusts of 92 km/h (57 mph). A few car alarms have been set off and there are some stray wheelie bins about. A carnival of sorts, Jan. :D

I have decided to stay in and read.

Enjoy your day whatever you intend to do.

Morning all.
Bright, sunny and mild here but gusty winds.
Waiting for the man from Rington's to turn up then it will be off to do the supermarket shop. After that MrsC and I are off for an Italian lunch. :Hi:
After that a restful slump is on the cards.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, it’s dull and damp here. Edward has gone to play golf and I’ll be going to the gym later but first I need to pop up to the post office and take out some money. Tesco delivery this afternoon and we are going dancing this evening.

Good morning everybody.

Have been to the bank.Tried tomake a payment yesterday afternoon using online banking but it did not go through. OK at the bank this morning.
Then bought some fish at the van which only comes on Friday morning. Had to pay cash as her little gadget to make card payments was not working.
Good job I had plenty of cash.
Friends are coming this afternoon for a chat.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Hope Pedro can fix the water heater Jan.
Enjoy lunch Crommers.
Good luck with the travel booking Ria.

We've had a nice long lie in so I'm a bit behind with the washing. Oh well if I don't get it all done today I can finish it off tomorrow. Nothing much else happening, expecting a Sainsbury's delivery later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx
