Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, grey and coll ish. Rain forecast for this afternoon, although it looks like it could chuck it down at the moment  19C for us.

Took me ages to get the laptop working this morning  kept giving me airplane mode

Washing machine will not be on this morning, no point, it won't dry before the rain starts.

No idea what we'll be doing today, might draw up a couple of things for Sonia to cover later this week.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.
Dull with grey clouds but no rain. Going to the post office when the children have gone to school. All the cars should have gone soon which park
near the school I have to pass.
Then back home to make a few phone calls, Will finish cleaning the windows. Diod some yesterday. Surprising how dirty the dusters get.
I use a proffessional window cleaning spray. Does not leave streaks.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Enjoy your quiet day, Al :) xx

Hope your laptop behaves Jan xx

It’s half-term here this week, Cruiser. We live very near a school so it goes lovely and quiet during the holidays :cute:  xx

It’s a beautiful sunny day here, it was so warm yesterday that D had her patio doors open all day, and the heating off. Her patio is a real sun trap 8-) :D Hopefully meeting Em in town as usual, but she had an ophthalmology appointment at 8.15 and is waiting to see if the drops wear off in time. I will go into town whatever, as I need a few bits and to go on the sunbed. Not doing Zumba until I know what’s happening with my back and hip - I have a face-to-face appointment next Tuesday.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s sunny and mild.

Bill’s had his walk and I’ve been for a run. Got home and Strava was telling me I’d done 2.98 miles even though it was the same run I usually do which comes in at around 3.1 miles. Couldn’t leave it at that so I went back out of the gate and ran down to the corner and back, much to the amusement of Paul over the road who I’d already breathlessly shouted hello to. This time I shouted “bloody Strava, 2.98 miles!!”. I knew he’d understand that, he’s an athlete and has trained Joe and they often run together

Pancake Day here today as Tom won’t be home tomorrow (not sure if Germany does Pancake Day - Ria?). My favourite dinner of the year, and I always say without fail that we should have pancakes more often and we never do!

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it’s a bright morning here, plenty of cloud around but no rain forecast. Edward has gone to play golf and I’ll be going to the gym later in the morning. We’re expecting something to be delivered by DHL so I’ll leave a note on the door when I go out, the nail bar is very good at taking things in for us. When back from the gym, there is a pile of ironing awaiting my attention, and I’ll try to get it done as I’m out tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday for part of the day. General tidy around before I go to the gym.

Hello all and good afternoon

the morning has flown by! Read through all the posts but too many to answer personally - but Jo, as far as I know the answer to pancakes in Germany is no. I had to google it and it actually for many areas is just part of Fasching / Fasnacht which is a few days of carneval

Kaz, yesteday was lovely - I met up with friends for lunch and left as soon as was polite to because I just wanted to get outside into my garden; managed about 1/2 hour sitting in the sun - absolute bliss.

I'm working from home today and trying to tidy in between working - but it just seems to be the usual pick up something, not sure what to do with it and then put it back where I picked it up from; or move things from one room to another.... but I'll get there; just lots of little things that need sorting and I just don't quite know what to do with them because I don't need them, can't really give them away but hate!!! throwing away anything that is potentially still of use to someone :) Oh well

Have a lovely day all x

Afternoon all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

I was looking forward to seeing the current series final episode of Call the Midwife, but it's been pushed back till next week, completely forgot about the Baftas. We didn't watch, but so pleased Austin Butler got the leading actor award, he was amazing as Elvis, so well deserved, brilliant acting. Routing for him to get the Oscar.

We've been even lazier than usual, didn't get up till almost 11am :o I'm not joking when I say I should be a tortoise and hibernate in winter  Expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx
