A local walk with Don first then back to get a few bits done including the post office to get a card sent to France for Mark's upcoming 60th.

Lunch at home today as yesterday's ended up being a very lengthy affair.

Am sitting in Cheltenham Hospital X-ray outpatient department waiting for my hip X-ray. Am a bit early, as my appointment is 9.15 but the traffic between Gloucester and Cheltenham can be really heavy in the morning so we set out early. Straight back to Gloucester afterwards to go shopping with D, although it might have been nice to go into the shops here in Cheltenham. Ah well, better planning next time

Very wet, grey and not that cold. 20C for us and 14C tonight

A day for doing nothing at all, bar read, eat, plan the planting, maybe order more I quite fancy a tamarind tree in the middle of the gravel, sort of like a turning circle Might have my work cut out persuading Grumpy though - it involves a lot of work, getting large boulders from the field and then the soil from somewhere. We'll see

We're off to M&S in an hour or so, not the best day to be going out, but I have an order to collect and we need fresh veg and a few other bits.

Snowing steadily here, but it isn't settling on the roads.
Off to the docs in a mo, then to Sainsbury's for the weekend shop.

Good morning everybody.
It has ben snowing but it is not sticking. So have not got the sledge out.
After breakfast, I have been to Asda. There is a post office inside and I had ordered the new stamps with the Queen's head and the Flying Scotsman on.
Then did some shopping. No tills open, just the selv service ones. I was struggling so got one of the assistants to scan every item. She didn't like doing it
but I said I did not know how to operate the scanner. I had vegatables and apples whic had to be weighed. Also got twppackets of salmon which
were cheaper if you bought two.
Not doing much today, just pootling inside.
