Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 24°. 8-)

Made good time driving home yesterday and enjoyed a few cold beers in our local.

Washing on and once I'm home from my walk I'll peg it out then plan to have a day at home/garden/sunbed.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but still a little chilly outside. But 24C for us later.

I'll be out in the garden before it gets too hot - love that bit  - I only managed one flower bed yesterday, before it got too hot on my head. Hate wearing hats, so came inside, to get cool

A small pile of ironing awaits and our conversation hour later in Ourique. Which will be manic, as we have a cycling race goingthrough today and the Porco Preto Fair starts later this week too, so most of the roads will be blocked off

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Waiting for an engineer to come and service the boiler. It showed a fault on Friday saying the pressure was low. Made a phone call and told to turna green lever.
But tyhere is only a small blue lever which I cannot turn. Refuseed to put a lot of pressure on it in case I broke it.
So no CH over week end. Phoned again on Monday. Told again to move valve. Said I am not trying as I do not know if it is the correct one.
Am having to wait until engineer comes this morning.
I said I do not have any other form of heating, am over 80 years old and my son lives in Kent. But they didn't seem to think it was urgent!!
Did not seem to make any difference. Am sat here with a long sleeved T shirt, a thick lined cardigan and an anorack to keep warm

Have a good day everybody.

Cruiser I hope the engineer comes today, that's totally unacceptable!!

Love to all :) xxx

Morning all, sun and cloud here and not too cold. We are going out shortly, Edward is returning one of the pairs of shorts he bought yesterday in Lidl as they are too big. Then on to the optician to have the new lenses put into my driving glasses, apparently that will take about an hour so I have a list of things to get in the shopping centre - birthday cards for my brother and SIL, a birthday present for my grandnephew, some new towels, vitamins in Holland and Barrett, and no doubt time for a cuppa ;) When we get home, I’ll start assembling clothes for our trip away, checking if anything needs washing etc. and Edward needs to decide what he is bringing.

The engineer arrived about 9.15 a.m Showed me how to top up the boiler if I get the message that the pressure is low. He showed me how to move
the lever and then I did it. So I will now know what to do.
The engineer hadto call out Britisg Gas/Cadent as the gas pressure was low. They have been and adjusted the valve on the gas meter
and the gas presure is now back up to the correct reading.
So I can now have my CH on and everything is safe.

Morning all :D

Dry and bright.

Enjoy the sunshine Kaz.
Glad to hear the engineer turned up and you're all sorted now Cruiser.

We're off out to the small Tesco in the next hour or so, need fresh veggies and bananas. Planning a quiet easy afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx
