Rather grey at the moment, but we're supposed to be sunny and 27C later
I'll whizz around after breakfast, doing the cleaning, then head down to finish off picking the broad beans. My hand and back were telling me enough is enough by 3.30 yesterday, but hope to finish it today. Grumpy will pull the white onions, the red one's still need to grow a little more.
Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
Morning all but dullish now but Scarlett is on here way here so I shall hear all about her accident Imfumming with bt had to verify my credit card but couldn't because my phone line is not working no incoming calls so can't verify card they send code to you So hopefully Jonathan to the rescue I hope by for now
Morning all, it’s a bright, sunny and calm one here. We had a bit of a lie on and have just finished breakfast. No real plan for the day - I’ll probably make a batch of soup and maybe put some washing in the machine. This evening I’m going to a dance show featuring some of the professionals from Dancing With the Stars Ireland, Edward wasn’t interested in going so I said I would go myself. I expect I’ll meet people I haven’t seen for years! It’s a theatre within the grounds of Dublin City University where Kellie’s show was last month, an easy drive and I don’t have to go into the city.
Saundra, have fun with Scarlett, I’m sure she is back to her happy self now and will tell you all about her accident.
Good morning everybody, It was frosty when I went for the paper. The sun is now out with a few fluffy clouds. Hope to do some gardening this afternoon. The sun onl;y gets on the back after lunch and there are still weeds to remove and the edge of ther lawn wants trimming.
Ally watch you don't get a ticket parking yourself round the pool!!
Take it easy Jan. Saundra have a lovely time with Scarlett, how's she doing now?
The last bit of ironing to tackle today. I hate it with a passion, just as well it only needs doing around holidays. Nothing else planned, just as well I'm cream crackered just thinking about it
When I was walking down with one load of broad beans plants, I stood on a rather large boulder. Couldn't see it, as the wildflowers are almost knee high.
Said a rather rude word, picked it up and threw it rather a long way towards the fence.
My foot is now so painful, not swollen, so nothing broken, hopefully. I was wearing trainers, rather than flip-flops, and hoping it will be better tomorrow.
Would be nice if some-one else cooked, but not expecting that
