Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 17 Apr 2023, 05:09

Morning everyone

Dark  bit when it's light and the sun is up, we're in for another 31C day 8-)

Up at stupid o'clock as we're off down to the Algarve to get pre-op test done., Chris is being stopped off at the airport first, then us. Lucy is then heading back to the airport to collect Freda, then back to Guia for us. Phew.

Not sure what is happening after that, maybe lunch somewhere.

Will report back later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.

Hope all goes ok Jan.

32° forecast for us so my walk is imminent to avoid getting heat blasted.

I'll have a swim later then going out with Don to Plaza Mayor.
H&M have got the loveliest shade of pale blue skinny jeans that I must have.

A few beers early doors and will pick up a pizza. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

Good luck, Jan xx

Ally we were promised a few days of lovely warm weather, starting on Sarurday, but it hasn't materialised  Enjoy the sunshine, and I hope you get your jeans :) xx

It's grey and miserable here again! Totally fed up with the lack of decent spring sunshine :cute: Going to town to meet Emma, for lunch and a look around the shops - I have a delivery to collect from M&S.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning JanB and Ally.
I was just getting up to go for the paper when you posted. There regrey clouds and it is only 15C so no sunbathing here.

Waiting for someone to come and pck up a large holdall. It belonged to the neighbour who lives opposite. He has sold it but has
gone back to his apartment in Spain. The man who is collecting it lives in Somerset and is coming to work in Accrington. So making
a small detour of the M6.

Will be doing some housework'
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s nice and sunny here and noticeably warmer. Edward has just left to go and play golf. I have my three-year check up with the breast surgeon at 12.30, I expect all to be well as I had my mammogram ages ago with no call back. This evening I’m meeting three school friends for something to eat, L is over from Boston and we usually try and get together when she is here. So no plans for h/work except for general tidying around.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Hope all goes well today Jan.
Good luck with your 3yr check up Osc.

Hoping it stays dry, was planning to get out in the garden for a tidy up, but it's not looking too promising right now. The garden bins get collected tomorrow so it would be good to get it done today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning.
bits of sun today and not too cold. Which is nice.
I have dropped MrsC off at the hairdressers and gone to get a paper.
I think if we had 31c anytime soon I would drop dead with shock.
We need a couple of bits from the shop and I need to get some money out too.
The grass in the back is shooting up, it really does need a cut.
Have a good day all.

hello and good morning

Jan, good luck with everything today. That's a fair whack of driving for Lucy; it's fab to have friends like her close by :)
Ally, enjoy the shopping and the pizza later today
Cruiser, that's good of you to help the neighbour
Osc, good luck xxxx
Kaz, I'm also getting a bit sick of the weather; although according to my FB memories the past few days I was complaining last year and the year before and the year before about the wet / cold / rain etc so it probably really isn't that unusual... but I'm more than ready for summer. Same as you the weekend was meant to be warm, but it wasn't and the week ahead isn't looking overly promising
Crommers and Jen, hope you both have some sunshine and can get into your gardens

Well I'm in the office four days this week. Big boss from US was due to arrive this morning but changed his mind yesterday so now only landing later today; which means I could have worked from home today but hey ho. Usually I'd be rather grumpy about that, but only complaining half heartedly today because the office is nice and clean whilst home is a huge mess. The bathroom is taking forever and a day; the end is in sight but it's still a few days work to go and Karl himself is back at work this week as well so whatever work needs doing can only happen Friday afternoons for a few hours and on one of the weekend days. I've told Karl that I'd rather wait a bit longer than him not have any family time over the weekend - he also needs to relax. It'll get there ;-)

Have a lovely day all x

Really warm now, with a lovely breeze.

All went okay, Jan drove, making it more comfy than being in the back of a camper van

Cost a blasted fortune though

So now we wait for the phone call from the hospital ...............

Hope all went well Osc xx
