A Guadalmar walk with Don and some food shopping on the way home.

I'm going to thaw a load of lemons that I juiced and froze and make some lemonade.

Sunny and warm already, cooler at 30C

Watering done and some-one has tied up some dogs in the forest and they're making such an awful noise. We heard them during the night too The local farmers do this to their puppies, so they're used to being alone. Horrible practice

Ironing later and then into Ourique this afternoon for our practice lesson. I'll also try and pay this stupid bill as I now have yet another reference number. Sonia's husband is coming with me, to help, if I have problems - again

I was just going to post what a lovely sunny morning it is and then the sun's gone in.
We have just had a wine delivery. It is always on time, very reliable.
Out for a bit of shopping in a while and maybe cut the grass if it stays dry.

Morning all, it’s a nice morning but with an onshore breeze the temperature is hovering around 10 degrees. I had a lovely meal out with my school pals last night followed by a walk on the pier as it was getting dark, lots of chat and laughter. This morning I’ve had a call from a medical centre that specialises in older people (grrrr) as I was referred by the doctor following my recent vertigo incident, and an appointment has been made for this day two weeks, I’ll be fitted with one of those monitors and will go back the following day for a full consultation. I feel a bit of a fraud as I feel fine, but I suppose a full check up is no harm.

Plenty to do around the house today. Edward is not playing golf and is outside cleaning the windows. I have ironing to do and might venture up to the attic to see what Spring/Summer clothes I have - usually a signal for winter to return with a vengeance

Ally, enjoy the lemonade - sounds yummy! And as for your temperatures - probably a bit too hot for us over here as not used to it; but I am rather jealous
Cruiser, hope all went well with the vaccination and fingers crossed it stays dry where you are
Jan, was last year hot like this as well - for some reason I seem to recall that you had quite mild weather for most of the year or am I imagining that? As for the puppies, that is just heartbreaking it really is. What happens if something attacks the pup - being tied up it can't get away / defend itself. I seriously hope they at least go out a few times a day to make sure they've got food and water? Just doesn't bear thinking about
Kaz, enjoy the trip into town and good luck with the camera shopping - security cameras are such a minefield; so many choices / ways to connect etc....

Sadly, it is common practice for the hunting dogs and also the guard dogs It's been taken away now, but will no doubt, be back later.

The guard dogs stay awake all night, and then sleep during the day, as the farmers are supposedly awake during the day.

And if they lose one, well, they lose one

We managed to get the back garden tidied yesterday, but we were too cream crackered to tackle the front. Really will have to find time before we go away. Not much planned for today, expecting a prescription delivery from Boots and that's about it.
