we've had rain

Forecast said rain this afternoon, Had a sprinkle of about a minute, then nothing, then a couple of minutes

That's it then, I said, the forecasters said up north was get it, we might be lucky.

Then we have had a couple of hours of lovely, steady rain

So I had salad for dinner

We had a lot of rain through the night and up until after lunch but it brightened up beautifully after that.
It doesn’t look good for next week here either though, more rain and there’s max of 7°c forecast for one day.
