Good morning.

Going into town this morning to meet a friend and have breakfast. :D

This afternoon Craig and myself are going to a retail park to get himself a new vacuum cleaner.

Out tonight for a couple of beers and a feast at an Indian restaurant.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally,

A lovely sunny morning. Wil be out in the garden. Have lots of plants I want to put in and weeds are still gowing.

Ally, I bought a Shark corded vacuum cleaner recently. It is brilliant. Dog hairs do not clog on the roller. Very easy to empty the dust box. There is a flexible hose which
is useful for doing stairs etc.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a nice day here and Edward is actually wearing shorts for the first time this year! We are busy preparing to head off to Wicklow for a few days, you wouldn’t believe how much stuff we bring, even our own bedding to save using Miss Osc’s then having to wash it. We’ll pack the car quite soon then get on the road, it’s not a long drive, about an hour and twenty minutes. Just need to do some tidying around first. We don’t do much while there, mostly walking, and tonight we will watch the Coronation concert, and I’ve brought two books. Back home on Wednesday but I’m sure I’ll post on here anyway.

A lovely morning now after early rain.
We have a recliner chair and I have dropped my phone into it somehow.
Safe travels Osc.
A quiet day today after having people round yesterday.

Hi everyone :)

Ally, I also recommend Shark, we have the corded one downstairs and the small rechargeable one upstairs, they’re very good 8-) xxx

We’re planning some time in the garden too, Cruiser xx

Happy Portuguese Mother’s Day, Jan :) xx

Enjoy your trip, Osc :) xx

Crommers we’re always doing that with our reclining sofas, and it’s really awkward to fish it out  xx

It’s a lovely sunny day here :) We’ve had breakfast out, enjoying the sunshine and are now round at D’s. We need to get out in our garden and plant up the pots with our buys from the other day. I also need to tidy out my bathroom storage as it’s getting hard to find stuff   Lamb chops and veg for dinner later and looking forward to the Coronation concert later.

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Scorching with a gentle breeze which helps 8-)

Another Shark user here Ally.
Safe drive Osc.

Spent yesterday at the Beach House, we ended up at Surfside bar for happy hour and watched the sunset, always spectacular here. We didn't see any of the coronation, would have watched if we were home, hope to see some of the footage when we get back.

Today we're off to the south coast and our favourite place for Sunday lunch, Southern Palms. Really looking forward to it, that's if we don't get lost, it's a long time since I drove there lol

Hope you're all having a good time xx

Evening all, it’s been a beautiful day here! A busy one though

I’ll recommend Shark vacuums too! Would never go back to a Dyson.

Joe and Amanda were off to Manchester this morning for his birthday celebrations so needed a lift to Stafford station from John. The plan was that after that he’d come home and a bit later we’d go into Stafford ourselves. I wanted to get Joe a birthday cake (it’s his birthday tomorrow) from M&S, it’s a tradition here that it’s not a birthday without a Colin The Caterpillar cake, and I also needed a gift card from there for John’s Mom as it’s her birthday on Wednesday.

John came back and we sat with coffees when Tom phoned, he was just about to get on the train from London so did we want to meet in Lichfield. He’d got the train from there and left his car on John’s office car park which overlooks the station. Lichfield no longer has an M&S, it only had a Simply Food anyway but that closed down as it was deemed too busy for the size of the unit and although relocation was talked about it’s never happened. We headed over to M&S in Stafford first, had a quick run through there to get what I needed and then over to Lichfield. We were a bit early so walked around the block with Bill and typically the train was then 20 minutes late
We had a lovely walk around the city with Tom once he’d arrived, and the lovely man in Coffee #1 brought Bill a lovely bowl of cold water when we stopped for coffee and cake.
