Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny but blowy - again

Safe journey Ally x

Ironing for me too, this morning and no idea what else I'll be doing. I have a blister from cutting too many dead things off yesterday, so won't be doing a lot with that hand today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Safe travels Ally :D xxxx

It is warming up a little Cruiser :) xx

Hope your hand eases off Jan xx

It’s a bit milder again today, happy days! Out in a while to walk Fraggle round the docks and maybe have a cuppa :) Round to D’s afterwards, I’ll pick us up some lunch on the way. If it stays dry we’re planning to weed her back patio - we did the front drive recently.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Hello and good morning all

Ally, safe travels home x
Cruiser, Jan and Kaz - enjoy your respective days pootling about

Lovely long weekend it was although ended on a bit of a downer; we finally managed to get the bathroom to such a point that I could reattach the washing machine and it's not working as it should; been playing up for a while now but I really think it's on its last legs. Then on my way to visit a friend for end of weekend nibbles / natter / prosecco the car engine warning light flashed up as did the traction warning light and the car was really 'juddery' (for want of a better description). Thankfully I had only just make it around the corner from me so I turned around and juddered my way back home - according to google it's an engine misfiring fault and to go to a garage asap; easier said than done - they can't fit me in until Friday! But on a positive note; this morning the washing machine seems to have had a rethink and is working (for now) - yay!!!!

So for me it's a working from home day with tidying and cleaning in between

have a lovely day all x

Afternoon all, it’s a pleasant enough day here in Wicklow and the forecast rain hasn’t arrived yet. We went out for breakfast which was really nice, huge servings so no lunch required! Then we popped into the supermarket for a few bits, after which we went for a lovely two hour walk. While we were walking, the doc rang about the results of the bloods I had done the week before last, but she has not yet received results from the elderly health clinic. We had a good chat, it is obvious that what I’ve been trying out to reduce my cholesterol has made no difference so it looks as if I will have to go on statins. She had a real good chat with me about it so I promised to seriously consider doing so. Back in the house now and about to have a cuppa, then might read for a while. We’re planning on watching the first Eurovision semi final tonight.

Good afternoon all.
A nice warm day here.
I've been to see the rheum nurse and dropped in at Aldi on the way back.
MrsC has gone to pick Eliza up from school.
Our daughter's car is stuck at the front of our house, it won't start. I think it's just the battery though. She's had it thirteen years, it's a little Suzuki.
I hope your hand improves Jan, and safe travels to Ally. Ria, what a pest about the washing machine.
Enjoy the day everyone.

Sorry to hear about your results Osc, but honestly Mick has taken statins for years and has found that taking Co-enzyme Q10 has helped hugely with the side-effects ((((((((x)))))))
