Northern lights

There is a good chance that at some time tomorrow the Aurora will come down to Scotland, maybe further. There have been a pair of Coronal Mass ejections over the last 4 days and the second one is likely to cause a lot of storming.

Worth a look up North if the skies are clear tomorrow for anyone who is that far north.

In fact they are forecasting it "could" get as far south as Cornwall.

But it's not looking like it on the live tracker.

I doubt we'll see it in Gloucestershire, but I would love to see them one day. I have see pod things in Finland where you can see the lights, and sleep under them

I have seen the Northern Lights in Canada (Cold Lake) and Norway (Bodo) but unfortunately it will be too cloudy to see anything hereabouts.

I have an alert on my phone and before now, when there’s been a high chance, we’ve gone to a high spot on the Chase with a compass (where it’s pitch black and clear) but had no luck.

I actually had a red alert when me and Joe were on the train back from Wembley in February but it’d dropped by the time we got home, I was gutted the next day when someone on a local Facebook page posted a pic of them from their bedroom window!
