Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 21 May 2023, 05:51

Good morning.

We had some rain through the night and have showers due mid morning.
We are desperate for rain so fingers crossed it appears.

I'll have a swim shortly then very happily be lazy for the rest of the day.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We also had rain over night, although it's dry as a bone now  cMore to come and cool too.

Will try and get at least a couple of the plants in the garden today. By the time we got back and had breakfast yesterday, it was just too hot

A lazy day, apart from tat and roast pork for dinner.4

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Really hope you get the rain you need Ally! Fingers crossed :) XX

Hope you get your plants in Jan, I planted some mint and coriander yesterday xx

Another sunny day here, it was actually hot yesterday afternoon sitting out on D's patio 8-) 8-)

We're going out for brekky in a while, then this afternoon we're going round to my friend's house, as Mick's going to install a security camera for her. She's having neighbour problems, hopefully this will help sort it as the council don't want to know (she owns her house, the neighbours are council tenants) and the police as good as told her she was imagining it! Mick has fitted cameras for us, his mum, and many years ago had a sideline fitting them, and he offered to install one for J.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody,

Grey clouds but warm. The sun is trying to come out. Will be going out inthe garden when I have finished tidying up inside. Still want to trim the edge of the lawn
and weeds seem to grow faster than plants.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s grey and hazy here, very calm though. We’re having a lazy morning but are going dancing early evening. It is a dance we have not been to before, with live music, we’ve seen the musician before and thought he was very good. Usual tidying around and I might do some knitting. I managed to get one piece into my jigsaw so far today

Morning all. A lovely sunny morning here.

Ally I hope your rain comes. Cruiser, the weeds are growing like anything. We've had a cold spring and apparently this makes plants release more seeds. We have got lots of little sycamores growing. Next door have got them in their borders and across the road they are all in the guttering.
Kaz, that's a poor attitude from the police.

Chicken for Sunday dinner, our son and sister in law will be coming.

Have a lovely day everyone.

We've had a change of plan.

Looking at the forecast, we're in for a horrible afternoon, so we've just spent two hours deciding where to dig the holes  and the plants have been moved to the back, as we're in for hail, thunderstorm and high wind.

Poor plants would never recover from a battering.

That's sensible Jan. Hopefully the ground will be easier to dig after the rain!

Morning all, it's just gone 9am here :D

Another scorcher 8-)

We had a lovely lunch at Pier One yesterday, piccies on Fb. Today we're off to the south coast and Southern Palms for Sunday lunch, it's a big favourite of ours. So glad we got a car, it's great being able to get around the island. Even local walks are a challenge, my ankle wouldn't have lasted the trip without. It's not so much the distances to walk, but there aren't many pavements and it's all very uneven. Mind you even with a car the roads are not as you know them, the potholes are more like craters lol

Hope you all have a good day xx
