Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 25 May 2023, 06:43

Morning everyone

Looks like we-re in for a lovely day, although rain is forecast. Didn't get any yesterday, maybe that-s the last of it.

General pootling today and then for our ours conversation in Ourique later. I've raided the pantry and am taking a couple of bags of tinned stuff for our local Ukrainian refugees, who are in need.

Rubbish from the freezer for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Merry morning Jan and everyone

Have you had enough rain for now Jan - how full is that dam that you took me to? It must be so hard for the refugees :(
Cruiser, don't overdo the cleaning, make sure you relax as well.

Well working from home for me today - yay! It's quite overcast and nippy at the moment but the sun is about to break through; it's meant to be a lovely sunny day. I need to pop to the allotment to water in a bit, was meant to do that earlier but couldn't get my A into G so here we are - oops; oh and I had to make a phone call before 8 so going to use that as an excuse as well  ! This afternoon I need to pop out to get some sheep fleeces for the allotment; heard so much positive about using them in all sorts of manners I decided to give it a go. Nails this evening and then to Ikea with Nadine to get a few bits for Nadine's mom - a friend of ours is flying to SA tomorrow and two days ago offered to take a few things hence a last minute dash.

Have a fab day everyone xxx

Good morning all.

Another glorious sunny morning here. This morning we are off to a local garden centre. Later we will be picking Eliza up from school and I will be fetching her mum from the railway station.

I hope you get rain Jan and you get sun Ria! Don't overdo the cleaning Cruiser.

Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, it’s a lovely morning here. We’ll be off to dance practise in a while but will be leaving that early as we are getting our Spring boosters at 2pm, then I’ll pop up to the school to collect Kellie. She is dancing in her ballet show this evening, and has asked that I do her hair. Michael is coming for his dinner too, we’ll feed them earlier than usual as Miss Osc will be collecting them early in order to get Kellie in to the dance show venue in time for the pre-show run through. I have my fingers crossed that I don’t react too badly to the jab, my reaction has been increasingly bad to each booster jab :(

Afternoon everyone :)

Jan, that a good thing to do, I can't imagine how awful it must be for them :( xx

Don't overdo it Cruiser xx

Sounds like a busy day Ria, but a relaxing evening 8-) xx

I do enjoy a garden centre trip Crommers :) xx

Fingers crossed for your booster, Osc XX

It's a pleasant day here, but not as sunny as yesterday, so we definitely picked the right day for our trip to Symonds Yet 8-) This morning we've been to Tesco, Mick hoovered round, I've put some washing on the line, and done some weeding. Later we're popping round to D's to say hello to her visitors - D's late sister's widower and his daughter :) I have Pilates tonight.

Love to all xxx

Afternoon all, it’s cloudy with sunny spells here and was quite humid when I walked Bill first thing.

Been doing jobs around the house while waiting for a few deliveries this morning. Once Joe’s home we’re off to Manchester for tonight’s match. Just one more trip up there after this and then the cup final on the 3rd and we’re done for this season. We counted up last night and after next Saturday we’ll have been to 35 games this season including three visits to Wembley. Won’t know what to do with ourselves until August

Osc, I had the Soring booster a couple of weeks ago. I felt a bit off the following day, I was tired and achey. I was expecting it as all of the Covid jabs have affected me so I booked it for when I had no plans for the following day. Hope you’re okay afterwards x

Have a good day all :)
