Proper south of Spain hot.

The BBQ party was fantastic fun yesterday.

As it's Don's birthday today I've offered to make bacon rolls after we've had a swim.

The twins are coming over around 3pm and we're going to Gambrinus for lunch which will no doubt be lengthy and full of laughter.

I'm in on the surprise of Don's birthday present from the 3 boys but won't put it here in case he reads this before this afternoon.

Morning all

Another lovely sunny day

Nothing much happening here, will be doing a roast dinner later and that's about it. Should really be a salad, but it felt so cold last week when I did the shopping I bought the usual cabbage, carrots etc. Still it will be nice, haven't had a roast since before we went away.

Well we had a thunderstorm yesterday evening, with a short sharp downpour, and the same about an hour ago. Not really as much rain as we could do with, but better than nothing. We had brunch out and are round at D’s now. Lamb chops and minted jersey royals for dinner later. Probably raspberry meringues for pud. Really ought to do some ironing if it’s cool enough
